Halbes Carbon sieht schlechter aus als gar keines
Ein offener Träger mit sichtbaren Modulen und Steckern wirkt unfertig, und der Blick geht durch die Verkleidungsöffnungen genau dorthin. Paradoxerweise kann ein Motorrad mit der teuren Konsole und ohne Deckel weniger durchdacht aussehen als eines, das vollständig serienmäßig geblieben ist.
Das ist das Argument, beide als einen Kauf zu behandeln statt als zwei. Der Deckel kostet einen Bruchteil des Trägers und ist das, was die Arbeit sichtbar macht.
Tragend ist er dabei nicht. Er hält nichts, nimmt keine Last auf, und seine ganze Aufgabe besteht darin, aus offener Technik eine fertige Fläche zu machen.
Montiert wird er in derselben Sitzung wie der Träger. Die Verkleidung muss ohnehin nur einmal herunter, und getrennt gemacht ist es dieselbe Arbeit zweimal.

Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es deckt unveränderte Elektrik ab.
Montage
Vor der letzten Schraube die Kante auf eingeklemmte Leitungen prüfen. Ein Stecker unter Dauerdruck entwickelt einen sporadischen Fehler, und niemand führt den auf einen Zierdeckel zurück.
