Zubehör zum Zubehör
Dieses Teil geht nicht für sich allein ans Motorrad. Es wird am Carbon-Träger befestigt, der also zuerst da sein muss – und das gehört deutlich gesagt, weil beide als getrennte Nummern zu sehr unterschiedlichen Preisen geführt werden.
Was es hinzufügt, ist eine fertige Oberfläche dort, wo sonst Leitungen zu sehen wären. An einem Motorrad, dessen Verkleidung so oft herunterkommt wie die einer Renn-Panigale, ist das keine Kleinigkeit.
Sichtbar ist die Abdeckung im montierten Zustand nur durch die Öffnungen der Seitenverkleidung. Genau dorthin fällt der Blick aber, wenn jemand neben dem Motorrad steht und hineinsieht.

Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es ist eine Abdeckung über unveränderter Elektrik, dokumentiert ist nichts.
Montage
Vor der letzten Schraube prüfen, dass nichts dahinter eingeklemmt ist. Ein unter einer Abdeckung gehaltener Stecker steht dauerhaft unter Druck, und der Ausfall zeigt sich als sporadischer Fehler, den niemand mit einem Carbondeckel in Verbindung bringt.
