Design, Verarbeitung und Markenphilosophie
Forsaken Motorsport hat sich seinen Ruf mit Bauteilen erarbeitet, die sich ihren Platz an ernsthaften Maschinen verdienen. Jeder Umlenkhebel verlässt die kanadische Werkstatt, nachdem er aus einem einzigen Aluminiumblock auf einer Haas VM3 herausgearbeitet wurde — einer Fräsmaschine, die wegen ihrer Steifigkeit und Wiederholgenauigkeit gewählt wurde, nicht der Bequemlichkeit halber. Die schwarz eloxierte Oberfläche ist keine kosmetische Zugabe; sie schützt die Legierung vor den Straßenchemikalien und dem Streckenschmutz, denen ein freiliegendes Fahrwerksbauteil zwangsläufig ausgesetzt ist.

Sobald der Umlenkhebel montiert ist, sollte die Dämpfungsabstimmung — sowohl Zug- als auch Druckstufe — an die nun lineare Kennlinie angepasst werden; Forsaken empfiehlt, die flachere progressive Charakteristik als Gelegenheit zur Feinabstimmung zu nutzen, statt die Einstellungen einfach komplett zu ersetzen. Fahrer, die eine individuellere Federrate suchen, werden feststellen, dass sich die Einheit ebenso gut für Aftermarket-Optionen eignet.
