Anders als herkömmliche O-Ringe schafft das NX-Ring-Profil eine effektivere Kontaktfläche, die das Fett sicher im Bolzen-Buchsen-Bereich jedes Glieds hält. Das Ergebnis: messbar geringere Reibung, deutlich langsamere Längung über die Zeit und Wartungsintervalle, die erfahrene Fahrer beim Umstieg von einer Billigkette sofort bemerken. ZVX3-Konstruktion und Sicherheit durch Nietschloss
Die Bezeichnung ZVX3 steht für die Premium-Kettenserie von EK Chain für Straße und Rennstrecke – eine Konstruktion, die seitliche Steifigkeit und gleichbleibende Laschenqualität über jedes Glied hinweg priorisiert. Eine steife Kette läuft präzise über die Kettenradzähne, reduziert die auf die Schwinge übertragenen Vibrationen und überträgt Drehmoment geschmeidiger als eine Kette, die unter Last seitlich nachgibt. Das ist besonders beim harten Herausbeschleunigen aus Kurven oder bei starker Beschleunigung im mittleren Drehzahlbereich eines leistungsstarken Reihenvierzylinders oder V2-Motors entscheidend.
Die Kette wird offen mit Nietschloss statt mit einem Clip-Verschlussglied geliefert.
