Der Monoblock-Körper eliminiert die Verwindung, die zweiteiligen Bremssattel-Konstruktionen inhärent ist, und leitet jedes Gramm hydraulischer Kraft mit einer Steifigkeit direkt in die Beläge, die das Gefühl und das Vertrauen in das Vorderrad spürbar verändert. Straßenzugelassen mit KBA-Zulassungsnummer und komplett mit hochleistungsfähigen Sinterbremsbelägen (07BB3793) geliefert, ist dies ein echtes werksseitiges Upgrade für ambitionierte Supersport-Fahrer.

Verarbeitungsqualität und Materialien
Der M4 Monoblock von Brembo hebt sich durch die Disziplin seiner Fertigung ab. Der Bremssattelkörper wird als ein Stück aus hochwertiger Aluminiumlegierung gegossen und anschließend präzise bearbeitet, um die vier 34-mm-Kolben in ihren gepaarten Bohrungen aufzunehmen. Jede relevante Oberfläche — Bohrungsfinish, Dichtungsnuten, Flüssigkeitskanäle — wird mit Toleranzen gefertigt, die erklären, warum Brembo MotoGP-, World-Superbike- und Formel-1-Maschinen ausstattet. Die schwarze Oberfläche ist keine Lackierung, sondern eine dauerhafte Schutzbeschichtung über dem bearbeiteten Aluminium, die Hitzezyklen auf Rennstreckenniveau ebenso gelassen übersteht wie Straßenschmutz. Die maximale Scheibendicke beträgt 6 mm, wobei die optimale Betriebsdicke bei 5,5 mm liegt — Werte, die bei der Wahl von Ersatzscheiben zu beachten sind. Auf der Straße verteilt die Vierkolben-Anordnung die Klemmkraft gleichmäßig über die Belagfläche, reduziert Fading durch Hotspots und verbessert die Wärmeableitung bei anhaltendem Bremsen. Für gelegentliche Trackdays bieten die doppelt abgedichteten Kolben und die DOT-5.1-Kompatibilität eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsreserve bei erhöhten Betriebstemperaturen.
