Ausschließlich für den Renneinsatz auf der Kawasaki ZX-10R und ZX-10RR (2021-2026) entwickelt, verfügt die Arrow Competition EVO Komplettauspuffanlage 71216PTZ über eine reine Rennsport-Homologation – das bedeutet, jedes Gramm ihrer 4,9 kg leichten Titankonstruktion ist kompromisslos auf die Strecke ausgelegt. Während straßenzugelassene Anlagen die Lärmschutzbestimmungen mit der Leistung in Einklang bringen müssen, kennt dieses System nur ein Ziel: die Rundenzeit.

Konstruktion & Materialien
Arrow hat die 71216PTZ konsequent auf einer durchgängigen Titanbasis aufgebaut – Header, Schalldämpfergehäuse und Innenkomponenten – gewählt wegen ihres unerreichten Verhältnisses von Festigkeit zu Gewicht und ihrer Beständigkeit gegenüber der anhaltenden thermischen Belastung im Rennstreckenbetrieb. Titan spart nicht nur Gewicht, sondern bewahrt seine strukturelle Integrität auch bei Temperaturen, die schwerere Legierungen ermüden lassen würden, und sorgt so für konstante Leistung Runde für Runde. Die Endkappe aus Kohlefaser erfüllt einen doppelten Zweck: Sie spart zusätzliche Gramm am Schalldämpferauslass und verstärkt den Auslass gegen die Vibrationsharmonien, die bei Renndrehzahlen entstehen. Auch die Innenkomponenten bestehen aus Titan, damit die Leistungscharakteristik des Systems auch mit steigender Laufleistung nicht nachlässt.
Leistung auf der Rennstrecke
Die Bezeichnung Competition EVO steht für den Anspruch von Arrow: Dies ist keine Straßenanlage mit Rennsport-Aufkleber. Die Strömungsgeometrie im Header ist so berechnet, dass sie die Spülung in genau den Drehzahlbereichen maximiert, die ZX-10R und ZX-10RR im scharfen Renneinsatz auf der Strecke durchlaufen – mit Ansprechverhalten sowie Leistungsentfaltung im mittleren bis oberen Drehzahlbereich als vorrangigen Zielen. Arrow empfiehlt nach der Montage dringend eine dedizierte ECU-Abstimmung, um das volle Leistungspotenzial der Anlage freizusetzen und sicherzustellen, dass die Gemischaufbereitung der erhöhten Durchflusskapazität von Header und Schalldämpfer entspricht.

Sie verfügt über keine Straßenzulassung und darf nicht an Motorrädern montiert werden, die im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr genutzt werden. Das Entfernen des dB-Killers ist auf abgesperrten Rennstrecken zulässig, sofern die dortigen Lärmvorschriften dies erlauben; prüfen Sie vor dem Wettkampfeinsatz stets die geltenden Streckenbestimmungen.
