Akrapovic gibt an, dass diese Anlage sich unmittelbar an Märkte richtet, in denen die EG/ECE-Typgenehmigung nicht gilt. Im Klartext: Es ist eine Exportausführung, und in Deutschland und im übrigen Europa ist sie ein Streckenteil.
Das ist keine Feinheit, über die wir hinweggehen. Wenn Sie einen straßenlegalen Slip-On für eine Z H2 brauchen, ist das der falsche Artikel, und wir zeigen Ihnen den richtigen.
Wo sich sechs Kilogramm versteckt haben
Die Z H2 ist mit 239 kg die schwerste von Kawasakis aufgeladenen Maschinen, und ein guter Teil des Grundes ist die Abgasanlage. Euro 5 an einem aufgeladenen Liter-Vierzylinder zu erfüllen verlangt einen sehr großen Dämpfer, und Kawasaki hat einen gebaut: 7,65 kg, rechts hinter dem Fahrer hängend.
6,15 kg aus dieser Lage zu nehmen sind über zweieinhalb Prozent des ganzen Motorrads, und zwar von der ungünstigsten Stelle.
Zwanzig Minuten
Ein Slip-On ist eine Schelle und zwei Federn, und an der Z H2 muss vorher nichts herunter. Zwanzig Minuten sind für die Arbeit großzügig gerechnet — das macht dies zu einer der schnellsten spürbaren Veränderungen, die einem Z-H2-Halter offenstehen.
Schwarz beschichtetes Titan
Akrapovic beschichtet das Titan schwarz, statt es blank zu lassen. Unbeschichtetes Titan nimmt mit der Zeit blaue und goldene Anlauffarben an — das passt zu einer Maschine wie der Z H2 in Kawasaki-Grün, wirkt aber unruhig gegen die schwarze Verkleidung, die die meisten tragen.
Die Beschichtung verbirgt außerdem Fingerabdrücke und Straßenfilm, was bei einem so großen Teil nicht nichts ist.
Sechs Modelljahre, ein Teil
Dieser Dämpfer deckt 2020 bis 2026 ab — die ursprüngliche Z H2 ebenso wie die Euro-5+-Überarbeitung. Zwischen diesen Generationen haben sich die Krümmer geändert, die Dämpferaufnahme nicht. Zwei Krümmer, ein Slip-On.
Zwanzig Minuten, und was sie bringen
