Die R 1300 GS trägt den drehmomentstärksten Boxer, den BMW je gebaut hat, und ihr Serienschalldämpfer wurde darauf ausgelegt, dieses Triebwerk leise zu halten — nicht darauf, es zu zeigen. Die Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titan) mit der Artikelnummer S-B13SO4-HJGT setzt an seine Stelle einen Doppelstrom-Endtopf aus Titan, der 4,5 Nm bei 2.300/min zulegt: genau dort, wo eine voll beladene GS aus der Kreuzung heraus zieht oder eine Schotterkehre hochkriecht. Und das mit EG- und ECE-Betriebserlaubnis, also ohne jede Änderung in den Fahrzeugpapieren.

Aufbau und Materialgüte
Titan ist der Grund für das Gewicht dieses Dämpfers. Akrapovic schmilzt und verarbeitet es im eigenen Haus, was selbst unter den Premium-Herstellern ungewöhnlich ist, und die Doppelstromführung teilt den Gasweg auf, statt ihn durch eine einzige enge Kammer zu pressen. Die profilierte Außenhaut ist keine Zierde: die eingeprägte Kontur versteift ein dünnwandiges Rohr, das sonst leicht eine Delle bekommt — auf einer Maschine, die ihr Leben neben Koffern, Stiefeln und dem gelegentlichen Umfaller verbringt, zählt das.
Die Endkappe ist aus Carbon, von Hand laminiert und beschnitten. Gegen das rohe Titan gibt sie dem Heck der GS die optische Masse, die der serienmäßige, kunststoffverkleidete Dämpfer nie hatte, und sie korrodiert nicht und verfärbt sich nicht unter der Hitzelast eines schwer arbeitenden Boxers im Sommerverkehr.
Leistung und Klang
Die entscheidende Zahl ist hier das Drehmoment, nicht die Spitzenleistung. Akrapovic misst 4,5 Nm mehr bei 2.300/min, und das ist bei einem 1.300er Boxer der Unterschied zwischen entspannt früh schalten und die Drehzahl halten müssen. Die Spitzenleistung steigt von 143,8 auf 145,5 PS und liegt 200/min früher an; das Spitzendrehmoment von 148,8 Nm entspricht praktisch dem der Serie — diese Anlage füllt den unteren Bereich, statt einer Prüfstandsschlagzeile hinterherzulaufen.
Der Klang bleibt bewusst zurückhaltend. Weil die Anlage EG- und ECE-Genehmigung trägt, bleibt sie im gesetzlichen Geräuschfenster; die Doppelstromführung gibt dem Boxer aber einen tieferen, volleren Schlag bei niedriger Drehzahl, ohne das Dröhnen, das lange Tage unangenehm macht.
Passform
S-B13SO4-HJGT ist für die BMW R 1300 GS und R 1300 GS Adventure ab Modelljahr 2024 sowie für die R 1300 R und R 1300 RS ab Modelljahr 2025 entwickelt. Die Anlage schließt an den Serienkrümmer an, verlangt keinen Eingriff am Verteiler und ist in etwa zwanzig Minuten mit Bordwerkzeug montiert. Das BMW-Motorrad-Koffersystem passt unverändert darüber.
Akrapovic bietet für diese Maschine zusätzlich einen Titankrümmer (E-B13E1) und einen Hitzeschild aus Carbon (P-HSB13SO1) an. Beides sind eigenständige Artikel, beides ist für den Betrieb des Slip-On nicht erforderlich — und der Einbau des optionalen Krümmers hebt die Betriebserlaubnis des Dämpfers auf.
Zulassung
Die Anlage trägt eine EG-Typgenehmigung und eine ECE-Typgenehmigung. Beide Bescheinigungen liegen dem Auspuff bei und stehen auf dieser Seite zum Download. Damit ist der Dämpfer ein legaler Ersatzschalldämpfer für den Straßenbetrieb in der Europäischen Union; ein Eintrag in die Fahrzeugpapiere ist nicht nötig, solange die Bescheinigung mitgeführt wird.
