Die meisten Auspuffumbauten kosten einen Sporttourer seine Koffer. Dieser nicht. Die Akrapovic Racing Line (Titan) S-Y9R13-HAPT/1 ist eine Komplettanlage für die Yamaha Tracer 9, die Hartschalenkoffer und Hauptständer nutzbar lässt, ihren eigenen Katalysator für Euro 5 mitbringt und einen zweiten Hitzeschild bekommt — weil eine Tracer häufiger mit Sozius und Topcase gefahren wird als ein Naked Bike.

Eine Komplettanlage, die alltagstauglich bleibt
GT und GT+ verlassen den Händler mit montierten Koffern, und der übliche Einwand gegen eine Komplettanlage an so einer Maschine ist, dass man sie los ist. Akrapovic führt diese so, dass die serienmäßige Gepäckaufnahme frei bleibt. Der zweite Hitzeschild ist aus demselben Grund da: mit Topcase und Sozius liegen Stoff und ein Stiefel deutlich näher am Topf, als es an einem Sportler je der Fall wäre.
Die Prüfstandswerte: 118,1 PS gegen serienmäßige 116,2 PS und 92,3 Nm gegen 92,1 Nm, wobei die aufgezeichneten Zuwächse von 2,0 PS und 1,3 Nm bei 10.000 beziehungsweise 9.700/min liegen. Auf dem Papier bescheiden — ein Reise-Dreizylinder würde einem Auspuff nie zweistellige Werte hergeben — der akustische Unterschied ist es überhaupt nicht.
Vor der Bestellung
Drei Punkte. Dieses Teil deckt ausschließlich die Modelljahre 2021 bis 2024 ab; eine 2025er Tracer braucht eine andere Anlage. Ein herausnehmbarer Geräuschdämpfer-Einsatz liegt für Strecken mit Limit im Karton. Und für die Hebebühne sollte man eine Stunde einplanen, weil die Krümmer mit herunterkommen.
Tracer 9, GT und GT+
Yamaha verkauft drei Versionen dieses Motorrads. Die Basis-Tracer-9 hat ein konventionelles Fahrwerk; die GT bringt halbaktive KYB-Dämpfung, Heizgriffe und serienmäßige Koffer; die GT+ zusätzlich radargestützten Abstandstempomaten und ein größeres Display. Nichts davon berührt Motor, Rahmen oder Abgasweg, diese Anlage passt also an alle drei.
Der praktische Unterschied zeigt sich bei der Montage. Eine GT oder GT+ kommt mit montierten Kofferträgern, und der rechte Träger muss herunter, bevor man an den Dämpfer kommt. Auch deshalb ist die Montagezeit mit 60 Minuten angegeben und nicht mit der halben Stunde, die eine nackte Tracer 9 braucht.
Zulassung
Typgenehmigt nach EG und ECE, Euro 5. Die Bescheinigung reist mit dem Auspuff mit und lässt sich zusätzlich von dieser Seite ziehen. Aus dem Abgasstrang verschwindet nichts — der Katalysator wandert lediglich in die Akrapovic-Anlage — die Fahrzeugpapiere bleiben also unangetastet.
