Drei Modelljahre, eine Artikelnummer, und ein Dämpfer, der sich ohne sie nicht befestigen lässt. Das ist der Montagesatz für die MT-09, die Yamaha zwischen der Überarbeitung 2021 und der Euro-5+-Aktualisierung gebaut hat — und es ist nicht derselbe Satz, den die spätere Maschine nimmt.

Welche drei Jahre
Yamaha gab der MT-09 zum Jahr 2021 einen neuen Rahmen, neue Verkleidungsteile und den 890-cm³-Motor und aktualisierte sie 2024 erneut für Euro 5+. Dieser Satz gehört zur mittleren Generation, und die Grenzen sind schärfer, als sie aussehen — die Maschine von 2024 hat andere Aufnahmepunkte und einen anderen Satz.
Das Datum der Erstzulassung im Fahrzeugschein klärt es meistens. Ein Anfang 2024 zugelassenes, aber 2023 gebautes Motorrad ist der unangenehme Fall; dort ist die Fahrgestellnummer die verlässliche Antwort.
Warum das eine eigene Position ist
Akrapovic verkauft einen Dämpfer über mehrere Fassungen der MT-09 und verlagert alles Unterschiedliche in einen günstigen Anbausatz. Das hält das teure Teil länger lagerfähig und macht das günstige spezifisch.
Für den Käufer ist die Folge einfach und unnachgiebig: Eine Bestellung, die nur die Anlage enthält, lässt sich nicht abschließen. Eine Schelle improvisiert man nicht.
Was in der Packung liegt
Die Schelle, die den Dämpfer fasst, der Halter, der sein Gewicht trägt, sowie Schrauben, Distanzstücke und Federn, die das Ganze am Heckrahmen halten. Alles fertig und auf Maß; nichts zu schneiden, nichts zu bohren.
Beides zusammen bestellen
Der Satz kostet einen Bruchteil der Anlage. Ihn wegzulassen macht aus einer Nachmittagsarbeit das Warten auf ein zweites Paket, während das Motorrad auf dem Ständer steht.

Serienschelle und Serienhalter kommen mit dem Serienschalldämpfer ab. Packen Sie beides zusammen und beschriften Sie es. Eine MT-09, die mit vollständiger Werksanlage samt Befestigungsmaterial angeboten wird, verkauft sich leichter als eine mit einer Kiste loser Teile.
Ein Wort zum späteren Satz
Akrapovic führt für die Euro-5+-MT-09 ab 2024 einen eigenen Montagesatz. Auf einer Preisliste sehen die beiden gleich aus und sind es nicht. Allein nach Modellnamen zu bestellen ist der Weg zum falschen Satz auf der Werkbank.
Kein Leistungsteil
Erwarten Sie in Sachen Leistung oder Klang nichts davon. Sein ganzer Beitrag besteht darin, dass der Dämpfer dort bleibt, wo er hingehört — wer mehr will, schaut auf die falsche Zeile der Rechnung.
Zulassung
Nichts zu erklären. Material dieser Art fällt ganz aus dem Genehmigungswesen heraus; die Legalität der fertigen Anlage hängt am Dämpfer und an dem Katalysator, der davor sitzt.
