Das unterscheidet E-B12R7/1 von den anderen. BMW montiert an manchen R 1250 ab Werk einen Akrapovic-Dämpfer und verkauft dieselbe Einheit über den Zubehörkatalog. Akrapovic gibt an, dass dieser Krümmer sowohl an diesen Dämpfer passt als auch an die eigenen Nachrüstteile.
Trägt Ihre Maschine bereits den von BMW gelieferten Akrapovic-Topf, vervollständigt der Krümmer allein die Anlage — ein zweiter Dämpferkauf entfällt.
Rechnen Sie mit dem Mapping
Akrapovic empfiehlt bei der Montage dieses Krümmers ein neues Steuergerätkennfeld, ausdrücklich um eine Motorkontrollleuchte zu vermeiden. Das ist eine deutlichere Aussage als der übliche Leistungshinweis: Ohne dürfte das Cockpit sich melden.

Edelstahl statt Titan
Akrapovic baut für diesen Motor zwei Krümmer. E-B12E4/1 ist aus Titan, dieser aus Edelstahl — und teurer, was verkehrt herum aussieht, bis man sieht, was er mitbringt: die Abgasklappe, den Einsatz und die Verträglichkeit mit BMWs eigenem Dämpfer.
Stahl ist an einer Maschine, die Winterstraßen und Schotter sieht, außerdem der gutmütigere Werkstoff.

Der Einsatz ist keine Zulassung
Dieser Krümmer wird mit einem herausnehmbaren Einsatz geliefert — an einem typgenehmigten Slip-On wäre das genau das Teil, das ihn legal hält. Hier ist es das nicht: Der Krümmer hat weder mit noch ohne Einsatz eine Genehmigung. Er verändert den Klang, sonst nichts.
