Zwei Motorräder, zwei Schilde
CFMOTOs 800MT-X ist die geländeorientiertere der beiden, mit anderer Verkleidung rund um den Dämpfer und eigener Aufnahmeanordnung. Ein für die normale 800MT geformtes Schild sitzt daran nicht richtig.
Das Tankemblem klärt in einer Sekunde, welche Maschine welche ist, und diese Sekunde lohnt sich — die beiden Akrapovic-Nummern lauten P-HSCF8SO1 und P-HSCF8SO2, und dazwischen liegt eine Ziffer.
Auf einen Dämpfer abgestimmt
Akrapovic hat dieses Schild um die Slip-On Line S-CF8SO3-HFTT der MT-X herum gebaut. An CFMOTOs eigener Anlage fluchtet es nicht und erreicht auch nicht das, wofür man ein aufeinander abgestimmtes Teilepaar kauft.
Ausrüstung schützen, nicht nur Haut
Akrapovics Beschreibung nennt den Fahrer und die Ausrüstung, und an einer Reisemaschine verdient die zweite Hälfte Aufmerksamkeit. An der Flanke verzurrtes Weichgepäck bringt Nylon in die Nähe eines heißen Dämpfers, und Nylon verliert diese Auseinandersetzung.
Das ist das praktische Argument für ein Schild. Das optische ist ein eigenes und an einem Motorrad mit so viel offener Technik genauso gültig.

Serienschild ab, dieses dran, an denselben Aufnahmen. Nichts zu beschneiden, nichts zu bohren, nichts einzustellen, wenn es sitzt.
Was ein chinesisches Reiseenduro einbringt
Die 800MT-X kommt mit einer Ausstattung, die anderswo Sonderausstattung wäre, und zu einem Preis, der Spielraum im Budget lässt. Besitzer stecken einen Teil dieses Spielraums häufig in die Abgasanlage, und ein passendes Carbonschild ist das Stück, das die Montage überlegt und nicht drangeschraubt aussehen lässt.
Was CFMOTO serienmäßig verbaut
Ein gepresstes und beschichtetes Blechschild, groß genug für die Aufgabe und passend zum Preis des Motorrads. Es funktioniert, und nach einer Saison Schotterpisten sieht es aus, was es ist — an der Vorderkante abgeplatzt und dort zeichnend, wo die Beschichtung weg ist.
Carbon schürft, statt abzuplatzen, und korrodiert nicht dort, wo die Oberfläche durch ist. An einer Maschine, die auf unbefestigten Wegen bewegt wird, ist das ein praktischer Unterschied und nicht nur ein optischer.
Kein Gewicht veröffentlicht
Akrapovic nennt zu diesem Teil keine Zahl. Hier wird nichts geschätzt — ein Schild dieser Größe ist höchstens ein paar hundert Gramm wert, und deswegen montiert es niemand.
Drei Modelljahre
CFMOTO baut die 800MT-X seit 2024 mit durchgehend gleicher Auspuffaufnahme, ein Schild deckt also die bisherige Bauzeit ab.
