Die V-Rod ist eine andere Harley
Der Revolution-Motor — wassergekühlt, sechzig Grad, mit Porsche entwickelt — dreht bis achteinhalbtausend und klingt in nichts nach einem Twin Cam. Ein Auspuff dafür verhält sich anders, und ein Dämpfer ebenso.
Akrapovic sagt einen Satz zu diesem Teil: Es eignet sich für Fahrer, die die Geräuschemission senken wollen. Es gibt keinen gemessenen Dezibelwert und keine Angabe, zu welcher Anlage es gehört. Wir liefern beides auch nicht aus einem anderen Dämpfer nach.

Die V-Rod-Jahre
Harley baute die V-Rod von 2001 bis 2017, und Akrapovic führt diesen Dämpfer für die Maschinen von 2009 bis 2016. Night Rod Special und Muscle teilen sich über diese Jahre dieselbe Dämpferanordnung — deshalb deckt ein Teil beide ab.
Die 10th-Anniversary-Ausgabe von 2012 ist eine Night Rod Special mit anderer Lackierung und anderen Schriftzügen und nimmt denselben Dämpfer.
