Accossatos verstellbare Stummellenker werden im Paar verkauft und lassen einen Fahrer den eigenen Lenkwinkel einstellen, ohne das ganze Cockpit zu wechseln. Jeder Stummellenker wird mit einem Innenring geliefert, und die Neigung lässt sich von 6 bis 10 Grad einstellen. Ein Bronzelager in der Klemme kann gegen eine andere Größe getauscht werden, sodass sich dasselbe Paar an Gabeln mehrerer Durchmesser anpasst, und die Rohre sind CNC-bearbeitetes Aluminium.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die Stummellenkerkörper werden aus Aluminium auf CNC-Anlagen gefräst, was die Klemmgeometrie und den Einstellbereich von Paar zu Paar gleich hält. Eloxiert werden die Rohre, nicht der Klemmkörper, sodass die sieben Rohrfarben (blau, grün, schwarz, orange, rot, silber, gold) unabhängig vom benötigten Gabeldurchmesser bestellt werden können. Das innere Bronzelager übernimmt die eigentliche Anpassung: Bei gelockerter Klemme fällt das zur Gabel passende Lager in den Ring, und dasselbe Stummellenkerpaar sitzt dann korrekt auf einem 48-, 50-, 51-, 52-, 53- oder 55-mm-Rohr.
Gabeldurchmesser und Neigung wählen
CP001 ist um die Idee gebaut, dass ein Stummellenkerpaar mehreren Gabelgrößen dienen kann, sofern das richtige Bronzelager für den betreffenden Durchmesser bestellt wird; Accossato listet Lager für 48, 50, 51, 52, 53 und 55 mm für dieses Teil. Die an der Klemme zwischen 6 und 10 Grad einstellbare Neigung lässt sich für den Alltag näher an einen Standardlenkerwinkel bringen oder für eine engagiertere Sitzposition am Trackday weiter nach vorn drehen. Nach dem Einstellen des Winkels sollten die Endanzugswerte und die daraus folgende Lenkeinschlagfreiheit geprüft werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
CP001 listet Accossato für eine breite Palette an Sport- und Supersportmaschinen, darunter die Aprilia RSV4 1100, die BMW S1000RR, die Ducati Panigale V4, die Honda CBR 600 RR, die Kawasaki ZX-10 R und die Yamaha R1. Straßenzulassung
Für dieses Teil liegen uns keine Prüf- oder Zulassungsunterlagen wie eine deutsche ABE vor, deshalb wird CP001 als für Renn- und Streckeneinsatz gedacht behandelt statt für die Fahrt auf öffentlichen Straßen.
