Wenige Supersport-Motorräder hatten ein so vollständiges zweites Leben wie die Yamaha R6. Nach 2020 verschwand die Straßenversion von den europäischen Preislisten, und das Modell lebte als Streckenmotorrad weiter, wo die meisten ohnehin ihre Wochenenden verbrachten. Accossatos Liste spiegelt diese Geschichte mit Einträgen von 2001 bis 2020 und erneut ab 2022. Der für alle genannte Deckel ist der FC124, aus Aluminium gefräst und mit einer schnell wirkenden Klinke schließend.
