Suzuki baute die GSR750 für Fahrer, die das Tempo eines Sportmotorrads wollten, ohne die passenden Handgelenke mitzubringen: ein aufrechtes Naked Bike mit einem Motor klar sportlicher Abstammung, verkauft ab 2011 und bis heute ein Liebling auf Klubniveau. Viele von ihnen verbringen ein Wochenende im Monat auf geschlossenen Rennstrecken und den Rest der Zeit auf gewöhnlichen Straßen, und dieses Doppelleben prägt, wie ihre Besitzer sie einstellen. Accossato führt für die GSR750 den FC122, einen aus Aluminium gefrästen Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss und farbigem Stift.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Aluminium und nichts sonst, auf CNC-Anlagen gefräst, so baut Accossato diesen Deckel, und die Firma bewertet ihn als robust und langlebig. Eine schnell schließende Klinke übernimmt die Arbeit des Verschließens, was bedeutet, dass sich der Tank der GSR750 zwischen den Sessions öffnen lässt, ohne nach dem Schlüssel zu suchen. Der in der Klinke sitzende Stift ist das farbige Element und wird bei der Bestellung aus sechs Optionen gewählt. Wird er je beschädigt, liefert Accossato eine neue Klinke einzeln, sodass der Rest des Deckels weiter im Einsatz bleibt.
Die Heimfahrt nach der letzten Session
Das Ende eines Trackdays ist der Teil, den niemand plant. Die letzte Session endet, das Adrenalin sinkt, und es gibt einen Pavillon zum Zusammenfalten, Reifenwärmer zum Abstecken und ein Motorrad, das wieder straßentauglich gemacht werden muss. Bei einer GSR750, die zur Strecke gefahren statt im Anhänger transportiert wird, ist die Liste kurz, muss aber sorgfältig abgearbeitet werden: Lichter abgeklebt entfernen, Spiegel wieder montiert, Reifendruck zurückgesetzt, und der Serien-Deckel wieder montiert, bevor das Motorrad das Tor verlässt. Erledigen Sie den Wechsel, solange noch Tageslicht und saubere Hände vorhanden sind, nicht erst an einer Tankstelle. Legen Sie den Accossato-Deckel in dieselbe Box wie das Klebeband und die Kabelbinder, sodass er mit dem Rest der Streckenausrüstung reist und für den nächsten Termin bereit ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt die GSR 750 für den FC122 mit den Modelljahren 2011 bis 2016, die diese Anzeige abdeckt. Bei Inter-Pace wird derselbe Deckel auch für die GSX-R 750, die GSX-S750 und die SV650 geführt. Accossato verzeichnet weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Teilegutachten für den FC122, er ist daher ein Teil für geschlossene Rennstrecken. Auf öffentlichen Straßen sollte die GSR750 den Deckel behalten, mit dem sie ausgeliefert wurde, der normalerweise mit dem Zündschlüssel öffnet.
