KTM stellte der RC 390 eine schärfere R-Version zur Seite, gedacht für Fahrer, die ihr kleines Sportmotorrad in den Rennsport bringen, und Accossato führt diese RC 390 R für 2018. Wer damit Rennen fährt, kennt die letzte Viertelstunde vor einem Start: der Aufruf in den Vorstart, das Warten in Sonne oder Nieselregen, die Einführungsrunde und dann die Ampel. Sobald die Motorräder aufgereiht stehen, lässt sich nichts mehr richten, jede Kontrolle muss also früher stattfinden. Zu dieser Arbeitsweise passt der FC127: ein Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss aus CNC-gefrästem Aluminium, mit einer Klinke, deren Stift in sechs Farben kommt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Aluminium bildet den gesamten Korpus des FC127, CNC-gefräst, und Accossato beschreibt den Deckel als stabil und langlebig, mit einem neuen Design. Am Renntag zählt vor allem die schnell schließende Klinke, die den Einfüllstutzen der RC 390 R schnell öffnet und mit derselben Geschwindigkeit wieder verschließt. Den Stift, der auf der Klinke sitzt, können Sie in jeder der sechs Farben bestellen. Eine verbogene oder gebrochene Klinke ist ebenfalls nicht das Ende des Deckels, denn Accossato verkauft Ersatz einzeln.
Die Minuten vor dem Vorstart
Im Vorstart erreicht die Rennnervosität ihren Höhepunkt, und reparieren lässt sich dort nichts mehr, jede Arbeit gehört also vorher ins Fahrerlager. Planen Sie den Kraftstoff mit diesem Gedanken. Wissen Sie, wie viel Ihre RC 390 R für die Einführungsrunde, das Rennen und die Runde zurück verbraucht, rechnen Sie eine Reserve dazu und tanken Sie lange vor dem Aufruf statt in letzter Minute. Ist der Kraftstoff drin, schließen Sie die Klinke, drücken auf den Deckel und fahren mit einem Finger um seinen Rand, um sicher zu sein, dass nichts feucht ist. Reinigen Sie auch die Tankoberseite, denn ein Kraftstofffilm macht sie rutschig für Knie und Brust, wenn Sie sich auf der Geraden hinter die Verkleidung legen. Dann lassen Sie den Einfüllstutzen in Ruhe. Nutzen Sie die Zeit im Vorstart zum Durchatmen und für ein letztes Wort mit demjenigen, der Ihnen hilft, nicht für den Kraftstoff. Wenn ein Streckenposten oder ein Techniker vor dem Start auf etwas zeigt, sollte es eine Kleinigkeit sein, und es sollte nie der Tankdeckel sein, der Sie aus dem Rennen hält.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den FC127 für die RC 390 R von 2018, und dieses eine Modelljahr deckt das Produkt ab. Bei Inter-Pace ist derselbe Deckel außerdem für die normale RC 390 und für die 390 Duke gelistet. Straßenzulassung
Für den FC127 sind weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Teilegutachten verzeichnet, wir verkaufen ihn deshalb für den Rundkurs. Ist Ihre RC 390 R noch für die Straße zugelassen, gehört ihr Originaldeckel, der sich üblicherweise mit dem Zündschlüssel abschließen lässt, immer dann darauf, wenn sie die Rennstrecke verlässt.
