Die ZX-6R ist Kawasakis vierzylindriges Mittelklasse-Sportmotorrad, aufgebaut um ihren 636er-Motor, und die Versionen von 2019 bis 2024 sind häufige Gäste in den Supersport-Gruppen bei Trackdays. Sie liebt Drehzahl, honoriert präzises Fahren und zieht eher Besitzer an, die bei ihrer Routine genau sind. Die ersten Minuten eines Trackday-Morgens zeigen, warum das zählt, denn das Warmfahren eines Motors und das Befüllen eines Tanks sind zwei Aufgaben, die sich niemals überschneiden sollten. Für die ZX-6R dieser Jahrgänge führt Accossato den FC126, einen Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss aus Aluminium mit farbigem Stift an der Klinke.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FC126 ist vollständig aus Aluminium auf CNC-Maschinen geformt, und Accossato beschreibt ihn als robust und langlebig, mit einem neuen Design. Er schließt mittels einer schnell schließenden Klinke, die schnellen Zugang zum Tank der ZX-6R gibt und ihn ohne Verzögerung wieder verschließt. Der an der Klinke montierte Stift ist in sechs Farben erhältlich, gewählt bei der Bestellung. Accossato verkauft die Klinke außerdem einzeln, sodass eine beschädigte erneuert werden kann, während der Rest des Deckels im Einsatz bleibt.
Bevor der Motor warm wird
Viele Fahrer starten ihre Motoren früh an einem Trackday-Morgen und lassen sie mit montierten Reifenwärmern auf dem Ständer im Leerlauf, während sie in die Lederkombi schlüpfen, und eine ZX-6R mit Reifenwärmern und tuckerndem Motor ist um acht Uhr ein vertrauter Anblick in der Box. Genau das ist der Moment, den Kanister fernzuhalten. Das Tanken gehört vor das Warmfahren, bei kaltem Motor und dem Auspuff auf Lufttemperatur, oder später am Tag, sobald das Motorrad nach einer Session eine Weile gestanden hat. Planen Sie den Morgen in dieser Reihenfolge: zuerst tanken, Deckel geschlossen und geprüft, Tankoberseite abgewischt, dann den Motor starten und warmlaufen lassen. Vergessen Sie es und der Motor läuft bereits, stellen Sie ihn ab und warten Sie, bis Krümmer und Schalldämpfer merklich abgekühlt sind, bevor Sie den FC126 öffnen. Das kostet ein paar Minuten, ein kleiner Preis dafür, Kraftstoff und Hitze getrennt zu halten. Dieselbe Regel gilt für jeden Helfer, der anbietet, das Motorrad während Ihrer Fahrerbesprechung nachzutanken.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Zwei Accossato-Einträge führen für dieses Motorrad zum FC126, die ZX-6R 636 von 2019 bis 2023 und die ZX-6R 636 von 2024, wir führen ihn daher für 2019 bis 2024. Für die ZX-6R von 2013 bis 2017 nennt die Liste stattdessen den FC143, und für 2018 gibt es keinen Eintrag. Bei uns erscheint der FC126 außerdem für die Ninja 400 und die Ninja H2 SX.
Straßenzulassung
Für den FC126 liegen kein Teilegutachten und keine deutsche ABE vor, wir verkaufen ihn daher für den Streckeneinsatz. Der Originaldeckel der ZX-6R, normalerweise mit dem Zündschlüssel geöffnet, bleibt für öffentliche Straßen montiert.
