Die Z7 Hybrid, von Kawasaki für 2024 eingeführt, verbindet einen Benzin-Zweizylinder mit einem Elektromotor und kann losfahren, ohne dass der Motor überhaupt läuft. Das macht sie in jedem Fahrerlager ungewöhnlich, und es durchbricht eine Gewohnheit, die Fahrer herkömmlicher Motorräder für selbstverständlich halten: dass ein stilles Motorrad ein ausgeschaltetes Motorrad ist. Rund um den Kraftstoff kommt es auf diese Annahme an. Für die Z7 Hybrid von 2024, bei uns als Z7 Hybrid 450 gelistet, bietet Accossato den FC126 an, einen gefrästen Aluminiumdeckel für den Tank mit schnell schließender Klinke und sechs Stiftfarben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FC126 ist durch und durch Aluminium, auf CNC-Maschinen bearbeitet, und Accossato bewertet ihn als robust und langlebig. Er hat ein neues Design, und seine schnell schließende Klinke öffnet und verschließt den Tank der Z7 Hybrid schnell; so fortschrittlich der Antrieb auch ist, der Einfüllstutzen bleibt so mechanisch wie an jedem anderen Motorrad. Den Stift der Klinke gibt es in sechs Farben. Wird die Klinke beschädigt, liefert Accossato sie einzeln.
Leise ist nicht dasselbe wie aus
An einem herkömmlichen Motorrad bedeutet ein stiller Motor meist, dass das Motorrad aus ist. An der Z7 Hybrid kann das System fahrbereit sein, während der Benzinmotor schweigt, etwa im Elektromodus. Machen Sie es sich vor dem Tanken zur festen Gewohnheit, die Zündung vollständig auszuschalten und auf das Display zu sehen, und öffnen Sie erst dann den Deckel. Dasselbe gilt für jeden, der Ihnen hilft: Erklären Sie, dass das Motorrad unter Spannung stehen kann, ohne einen Ton von sich zu geben. Stellen Sie die Z7 Hybrid auf den Ständer, lassen Sie heiße Teile abkühlen, wenn sie gerade von einem Turn hereingekommen ist, und füllen Sie langsam ein, den Kanister neben sich auf dem Boden. Der Hybridantrieb ändert nichts an den Grundregeln rund um Benzin: keine Funken, kein Rauchen, keine offenen Flammen in der Nähe. Ist der FC126 geschlossen, prüfen Sie seinen Sitz, wischen Sie Tropfen weg und schalten Sie das Motorrad erst wieder ein, wenn der Bereich um den Einfüllstutzen trocken ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität

Straßenzulassung
Für den FC126 gibt es weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein dokumentiertes Teilegutachten, deshalb bieten wir ihn für den Streckeneinsatz an. Auf der Straße behält die Z7 Hybrid ihren Originaldeckel, der sich normalerweise abschließen lässt.
