Die Honda CB500F ist eines der vertrautesten Motorräder an Fahrschulen, ein Zweizylinder-Naked, mit Blick auf die A2-Klasse gebaut und für Einsteiger leicht zu beherrschen. Sie taucht auch bei Rennstreckentrainings auf, mitunter unter dem Instruktor, der eine Gruppe nach der anderen um die Strecke führt, vom ersten Turn am Morgen bis zum letzten am Nachmittag. Für die CB500F von 2016 bis 2019 führt Accossato den FC125, einen Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss, vollständig aus CNC-gefrästem Aluminium hergestellt, mit einer schnell schließenden Klinke in der Stiftfarbe Ihrer Wahl.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der Korpus des FC125 ist von einem Ende zum anderen auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräst, und Accossato bürgt dafür, dass er robust und langlebig ist. Das Design ist neu und in den Worten von Accossato ansprechend. Eine schnell schließende Klinke gibt schnellen Zugang zum Tank der CB500F und verschließt ihn ebenso schnell wieder, und der Stift an dieser Klinke kann rot, schwarz, silbern, blau, grün oder golden sein. Für ein Motorrad, das hart arbeitet, ist ein Detail nützlich: Wird die Klinke beschädigt, verkauft Accossato sie separat, eine zerkratzte Klinke bedeutet also keinen neuen Deckel.
Der Instruktor fährt jeden Turn
An einem Trainingstag auf der Rennstrecke fährt jeder Teilnehmer eine Handvoll Turns, der Instruktor aber möglicherweise alle, führt eine Gruppe nach der anderen und kommt herein, um mit jedem Fahrer durchzusprechen, was gut lief und was nicht. Damit ist das Motorrad des Instruktors dasjenige, das am ehesten zur Neige geht, und dasjenige mit der wenigsten Zeit fürs Tanken. Instruktoren, die das regelmäßig machen, planen den Kraftstoff in ihren Zeitplan ein: einmal Nachfüllen in der Mittagspause, ganz gleich, was die Anzeige sagt, und noch eine Kontrolle vor der letzten Gruppe des Nachmittags. An einer CB500F mit dem FC125 dauert die Arbeit eine Minute: Motor aus, Motorrad aufrecht auf dem Ständer, Klinke auf, Kraftstoff durch einen Trichter hinein, Deckel zu und von Hand geprüft. Eine Ersatzklinke in der Tasche ist eine kleine Vorsichtsmaßnahme für ein Motorrad, das den ganzen Tag im Einsatz ist und von mehreren Personen durch eine belebte Boxengasse bewegt wird. Die Gruppe, die am Boxenausgang wartet, wird die Pünktlichkeit zu schätzen wissen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die CB 500 F hat einen Eintrag für den FC125, der 2016 bis 2019 abdeckt. Keine ältere CB500F ist für diesen Deckel gelistet, prüfen Sie also vor der Bestellung das Baujahr Ihres Motorrads. In unserem Shop nutzen die CB500X, die CBR500R und die CB650R denselben FC125.
Straßenzulassung
Der FC125 hat keine deutsche ABE und kein dokumentiertes Teilegutachten, wir bieten ihn deshalb für geschlossene Kurse an. Für die Straße behält die CB500F ihren Werksdeckel, der sich normalerweise mit dem Zündschlüssel öffnen lässt.
