Entwickelt für die Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2016–2020) ist dieses Accossato-Kit im Standard-Layout gebaut, sodass es die serienmäßige Gummileitung ersetzt, ohne die Verlegung zu verändern. Das Kit ist für sportliches Fahren entwickelt, bei dem wiederholt harte Bremsmanöver jede Schwäche der Serienleitungen offenlegen. Dieses Angebot betrifft speziell die R-Variante des Modells. Da sich das Geflecht unter Druck so wenig bewegt im Vergleich zu Gummi, wirkt die Verbindung zwischen Hand und Bremssattel spürbar direkter.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die Leitung dieses ZX-10-R-Kits ist mit einem Edelstahlgeflecht in Luftfahrtqualität ummantelt, das sie unter Druck deutlich formstabiler hält als die ersetzte Gummileitung, über die gesamte Produktion 2016–2020. Die Hohlschrauben-Fittings dieses Kits sind durchgehend aus Edelstahl, nicht in lackierter Ausführung angeboten, nur in blankem Edelstahl, wie es dem Fitting-Material entspricht, das Accossato über sein Stahlflex-Sortiment hinweg generell verwendet. Dieses Kit bietet das Geflecht in zwanzig Ummantelungsfarben, was echte Wahlfreiheit gibt, wie dezent oder wie auffällig das Finish an der ZX-10 R ausfällt. Farbe kommt hier allein vom Geflecht, da die Fittings in ihrer blanken Edelstahlausführung bleiben.
Standard-Layout und Leitungsverlegung
Da dieses Kit das Standard-Layout verwendet, ersetzen die vier Stahlflexleitungen die originalen Gummileitungen eins zu eins, entlang des Wegs, den Kawasaki für die ZX-10 R vorgesehen hat, passend zur Version der Baujahre 2016–2020. Nur die vordere Bremsleitung ist bei diesem Motorrad in diesem Kit enthalten, der hintere Kreis bleibt unberührt. An den Freiräumen rund um Rahmen oder Gabel ändert sich nichts, da die Stahlflexleitung denselben Weg nimmt, den die Gummileitung immer genommen hat. Eine vollständige Entlüftung der Bremsanlage nach dem Einbau stellt den festen Hebel wieder her, den die Stahlflexleitung liefern soll.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieses Kit ist von Accossato für die Kawasaki ZX-10 R der Baureihe 2016–2020 im Standard-Layout spezifiziert. Accossatos Unterlagen führen dieses Kit auch für die Kawasaki ZX-10 RR (2017–2020), da Accossato diese Modelle unter einer Artikelnummer zusammenfasst; das eigene Modell und Baujahr sollte trotzdem über den Fitment-Tab geprüft werden. Accossato teilt die Abdeckung der Kawasaki ZX-10 R auf zwei Kits auf; dieses hier deckt nur das Standard-Layout (nur vorne/ABS) ab, das andere Angebot folgt einer völlig anderen Verlegung. Dies ist eine modellspezifische Passform für das Motorrad, kein Universalteil, passend zu einem Motorrad, das für Fahrer gebaut ist, die hart und häufig bremsen, ob auf der Rennstrecke oder einer schnellen Straße.
