Accossato liefert dieses vierteilige Stahlflex-Bremsleitungskit für die Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 ohne ABS, gebaut zwischen 2007 und 2017, im Standard-Layout, sodass die neuen Leitungen genau den gleichen Weg durch das Chassis nehmen wie die Gummileitungen, die sie ersetzen. Der Reiz liegt in einem unkomplizierten Upgrade statt einem Umbau: Die Verlegung bleibt exakt dort, wo Aprilia sie vorgesehen hat, nur das Leitungsmaterial ändert sich, sodass die Bremspumpe weiterhin dieselben zwei Bremssättel über dieselben vier Leitungen versorgt, nur mit einer Stahlflex-Ummantelung statt Gummi. Fahrer, die das Motorrad für gemischten Straßen- und leichten Geländeeinsatz nutzen, bemerken die Veränderung am deutlichsten bei einem plötzlichen, kräftigen Griff zum Hebel.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Jede Leitung des Sets ist mit einem Edelstahlgeflecht über der inneren Druckleitung umwickelt, eine Bauweise, die Accossato im gesamten Sortiment einsetzt, weil sie verhindert, dass sich der Leitungsdurchmesser unter starker Beanspruchung aufweitet. Die Endarmaturen sind bei dieser Anwendung ausschließlich in blankem Edelstahl erhältlich, eine farbige Variante gibt es hier nicht, sodass die Beschläge unabhängig von der gewählten Ummantelungsfarbe im natürlichen Metallton bleiben. Diese Ummantelung gibt es in insgesamt zwanzig Farbtönen, von schlichtem Schwarz oder Silber bis zu kräftigen Neonfarben, womit die optische Entscheidung vollständig beim Geflecht liegt und nicht bei den Beschlägen.
Standard-Layout und seine Auswirkungen
Standard-Layout, bei Accossato mit S gekennzeichnet, bedeutet, dass diese vier Leitungen denselben Bremsleitungsweg beibehalten, den die Serien-Gummileitungen nutzten; an der Verlegung selbst ändert sich nichts. Der Vorteil zeigt sich beim kräftigen Ziehen des Hebels: Eine Stahlflexleitung widersteht der Aufweitung unter anhaltendem Druck deutlich besser als Gummi, sodass der Druckpunkt am Hebel Fahrt für Fahrt nahezu gleich bleibt, statt mit alternden Originalleitungen weicher zu werden. Werkstätten, die dieses Kit montieren, sollten dieselben vier Anschlusspunkte vorfinden, die die Serienleitungen nutzten, ohne dass neue Halterungen oder Clips benötigt werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieses Kit ist für die Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 ohne ABS gebaut, verkauft von 2007 bis 2017. Accossato führt außerdem eine siebenteilige ABS-Version dieses Kits, AGA0292, für die ABS-Variante der Dorsoduro 750 aus denselben Baujahren; beide sollten nicht verwechselt werden, da die ABS-Leitungsführung die zusätzlichen Leitungen benötigt, die dieses Nicht-ABS-Set nicht enthält. Vor der Bestellung sollte immer über den Fitment-Tab das genaue Baujahr und der ABS-Status des eigenen Motorrads geprüft werden.
