Ein neuer Fahrer, der noch erlernt, wie Ständer und Schwinge zusammenspielen, profitiert von Gummischutz mehr als die meisten, denn frühe Versuche, das Motorrad anzuheben, laufen selten so glatt wie geübte, und eine Hülle am Kontaktpunkt verzeiht den gelegentlichen Stoß, den eine blanke Aufnahme nicht verzeihen würde. Accossato baut diese Version auf dasselbe M10x1,25-Gewinde und denselben Aluminiumkörper wie die unverkleidete Aufnahme, mit Gummi nur dort, wo die Gabeln des Ständers greifen, genau dem Punkt, der am ehesten einen Treffer abbekommt, während jemand noch seinen Rhythmus findet.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Man nehme die ST004 und füge dort, wo die Gabeln eines Ständers greifen, eine Gummihülle hinzu, und das Ergebnis ist diese Aufnahme: derselbe Aluminiumkörper, dasselbe M10x1,25-Gewinde und dieselben sieben eloxierten Farben, blau, grün, schwarz, rot, silber, titan und gold, sonst nichts anders zwischen beiden Listungen.
Frühe Fehler verzeihen

Als M10x1,25-Gewinde statt etwas für dieses Modell Einzigartigem reicht sie auch zur ER-6N, Ninja 300, Versys 650, ZZR1400 und Suzuki Hayabusa, allein aufgrund der geteilten Gewindegröße. ST004, unverkleidet statt geschützt, vervollständigt die Listung für diese Ninja 400.
