Mit ihrer Halbverkleidung ist die Yamaha FZ1 Fazer ein tauglicher Sporttourer, und viele Besitzer schnallen weiches Gepäck an und fahren bei jedem Wetter übers Wochenende weg. Für diese Nutzung fertigt Accossato den Frontbelag AGPA97 in Sinter-Mischung (ST). Accossato sagt, er halte ein hohes, konstantes Grip-Niveau bei hoher wie niedriger Temperatur und greife gut im Nassen. Er ist für die FZ1 1000 Fazer von 2006 bis 2016 gelistet.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Fragt man Accossato, wofür die ST-Mischung gedacht ist, lautet die Antwort: Beständigkeit. Der Belag soll sich an einem kühlen Morgen nicht träge anfühlen und nach einer zügigen Bergabfahrt nicht weich werden, und ein Regenfilm auf der Scheibe soll ihm nicht den Biss nehmen. Das ist wertvoll an einem halbverkleideten Vierzylinder, der über die Jahreszeiten hinweg gefahren wird. Wie alles, was der italienische Hersteller fertigt, soll er zudem langsam verschleißen, seine Temperatur und damit das Fading im Griff behalten und das Motorrad kräftig herunterbremsen.
Wochenendausflüge bei wechselndem Wetter
Ein Wochenende weg auf einer FZ1 Fazer bedeutet oft eine Mischung aus schnellen Hauptstraßen, kurvigen Pässen und mindestens einem Regenschauer. Mit Tanktasche und Hecktasche trägt das Motorrad etwas zusätzliches Gewicht, und die Frontbremse arbeitet auf Abfahrten härter. Die ST-Mischung soll denselben Biss durch all das hindurch halten, sodass sich der Hebel vertraut anfühlt, ob die Straße trocken, nass, kalt oder warm ist. Sie passt auch zu Fahrern, die ihre Fazer durch Herbst und Winter bewegen. Für den Stadtgebrauch ist OR leiser, für ein schnelleres Straßentempo EV1.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Unsere Daten verbinden AGPA97 mit den Frontsätteln der FZ1 1000 Fazer der Modelljahre 2006 bis 2016, während der Heckbremssattel desselben Motorrads AGPP88 nimmt. Die Fazer hat an jedem Gabelbein einen Sattel, Sie benötigen also eine Schachtel pro Seite. Ein Tag vor der Abfahrt ist ein guter Moment, um zu prüfen, was von den alten Belägen übrig ist, mit dem Finger über die Scheiben nach einer Kante am Rand zu tasten und das Flüssigkeitsfenster zu kontrollieren. Wechseln Sie links und rechts in derselben Session, wischen Sie die Kolben sauber, bevor sie zurückgehen, und bremsen Sie die neuen Beläge auf den ersten Kilometern allmählich ein.
