Die Hinterradbremse eines Sportmotorrads verbringt ihr Leben kalt. An einer Bimota BB3 1000 wird sie für Sekunden berührt und dann meilenweit in Ruhe gelassen, und wenn eine Sommerausfahrt in einem Gewitter endet, wird von ihr verlangt, gleichzeitig nass und eiskalt zu arbeiten. Accossatos Antwort ist die Ausführung Sintered (ST) des hinteren Belags AGPA42, den das Haus so baut, dass er seinen Grip unabhängig von der Temperatur hält, gelistet für die BB3 1000 von 2014 bis 2018.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossatos Beschreibung des Materials Sintered (ST) dreht sich um Beständigkeit: ein hohes Grip-Niveau, das sich nicht mit der Temperatur verschiebt, und eine Reibfläche, die auf nasser Scheibe Halt behält. Für eine Hinterradbremse ist das eine bessere Passung, als es zunächst scheint. Vordere Beläge an einer BB3 1000 sehen auf einer schnellen Landstraße echte Hitze; das Heck selten, ein Material, das erst warmlaufen müsste, würde also sein gesamtes Arbeitsleben unterhalb der Temperatur verbringen, für die es gebaut wurde.
Das Pedal im Wolkenbruch
Regen verändert, wie ein schweres Sportmotorrad gefahren wird. Die vordere Bremse wird sanfter eingesetzt, die hintere mehr als im Trockenen, und beide müssen durch einen Wasserfilm arbeiten. Eine BB3 1000 auf nasser Fahrbahn profitiert von einer Hinterradbremse, auf die sich der Fahrer leicht stützen kann, um das Fahrwerk vor einem Kreisverkehr zu beruhigen, ohne sich zu fragen, ob die erste Berührung nichts bewirkt und die zweite das Rad blockiert.
Eine nasse Fahrt hinterlässt Salz und Schmutz, besonders spät im Jahr. Spülen Sie das Heck ab, sobald das Motorrad zu Hause ist, statt es eintrocknen zu lassen, und prüfen Sie gelegentlich, ob der Bremssattel frei gleitet und beide Beläge gleichmäßig verschleißen. Setzen Sie neues Material paarweise ein, bremsen Sie es mit ein paar festen Betätigungen auf einer ruhigen Straße ein, und reinigen Sie die Kolben, bevor Sie sie zurückdrücken, denn in die Dichtungen gezogener Schmutz ist es, was eine Hinterradbremse klemmen lässt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato nennt den AGPA42 für das Heck der Bimota BB3 1000 über die Modelljahre 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 und 2018. Für die Vorderradbremse dieses Motorrads ist kein Accossato-Belag gelistet, und auch keine Scheibe im Programm, sodass ein Besitzer einer BB3 1000 nur hier einen Eintrag findet. Der Bremssattel hinten nimmt eine Schachtel auf, und beide Beläge darin sollten zusammen gewechselt werden.
Straßenzulassung
