Fertigung und Materialgüte
Wie jeder Satz in dieser Reihe verbindet der MY002 ein zweiteiliges Aluminiumgehäuse, eloxiert in acht Kappenfarben, mit dem einfarbigen GR001-Griff in eigenen acht Farben. Drei austauschbare Nockenscheiben mit 40, 43 und 45 mm sitzen im Gehäuse und bestimmen, wie sich der Gasweg nach dem Einbau verhält, wobei Accossato eine größere Nockenscheibe mit einer schnelleren, längeren Ansprache verbindet und eine kleinere mit einer kürzeren, langsameren. Accossato führt den MY002 für die zwischen 2009 und 2016 gebaute Suzuki GSX-R1000; sein SU004-Gaszug reicht nicht bis zur ab 2017 eingeführten aktuellen GSX-R1000, für die ein separater, im Fitment-Tab gezeigter Satz gilt. Die gesamte Baugruppe, nicht nur das Gehäuse, ersetzt den originalen Gasgriff der Suzuki samt Zugverlauf.
Straßenzulassung
Für den MY002 ist von Accossato keine ABE oder Teilezertifizierung dokumentiert; die Zulassungsvorschriften hängen vom Land ab, daher vor dem Straßeneinsatz prüfen. Nach dem Einbau sicherstellen, dass das Gas über seinen gesamten Drehweg selbstständig in den Leerlauf zurückkehrt, bevor das Motorrad gefahren wird.
