Hände, Handschuhe und das Hebelende
Über ein langes Rennen entscheidet der Kontakt zwischen Handschuh und Hebel mehr, als es scheint. Die Spitze des Hebelblatts ist die Stelle, an der stundenlang zwei Finger ruhen, sodass ihr Zustand verändert, wie fest Sie greifen müssen: Ein Hebel mit abgebrochenem Ende, so sorgfältig er auch glatt gefeilt wurde, konzentriert den Druck auf eine kleine Fläche und erzeugt Blasen, die ein vollständiger Hebel nicht verursachen würde. Ein nach innen verbogenes Hebelblatt tut etwas Schlimmeres, es bringt den Hebel so nah an den Griff, dass Finger bei einem kräftigen Zug dazwischen eingeklemmt werden können, genau dann, wenn der Fahrer müde ist und spät reagiert. Keines der beiden Probleme meldet sich im Fahrerlager; beide zeigen sich an der Stelle im Rennen, an der Fehler teuer werden. Schauen Sie sich beim Durchchecken der FX 450 deshalb das Hebelende an, nicht nur, ob der Hebel funktioniert. Ist die Spitze beschädigt oder das Hebelblatt verzogen, montieren Sie einen neuen, reinigen und fetten Sie die Lagerstelle, solange sie offen ist, und lassen Sie den geringen, vom Handbuch verlangten Leerweg im Ruhezustand.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet den AGS17 nur für die FX 450 der Jahre 2021 und 2022, und für dieses Modell wird kein weiterer Original-Kupplungshebel angegeben, sodass Motorräder früherer Saisons auf der linken Seite nicht abgedeckt sind. Der Original-Bremshebel, der AGD14, läuft von 2018 bis 2022. Der AGS17 erscheint bei uns außerdem unter der FC 350, der FE 501 und der TC 250, neben weiteren Husqvarnas. Accossatos Tuning-Alternativen für die FX 450 sind der CNC-Bremshebel B8283 und der CNC-Kupplungshebel C7284.
Straßenzulassung
Für den AGS17 gibt es hier weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Prüfzeichen, da der Hebel ohne jegliche Zulassungspapiere zu uns kam; er ist für Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz gelistet.
