Von Hand wenden
Die meisten Fahrer schieben ein Motorrad von links, die linke Hand am Griff und die rechte am anderen Griff oder an der Sitzbank. Geradeaus funktioniert das gut. Zum engen Wenden lenken Sie zu sich hin, und während der Lenker herumkommt, neigt sich das Motorrad in Ihre Richtung. Im Schritttempo lässt sich diese Neigung leicht halten, doch wenn Sie stehen bleiben oder ein Gefälle falsch einschätzen, kann sie sehr schnell zu viel werden. Ein paar Kniffe helfen. Halten Sie die Streetfighter 848 fast aufrecht und an Ihrer Hüfte abgestützt, statt sie an den Armen hängen zu lassen. Nutzen Sie die Vorderradbremse, um das Tempo zu kontrollieren, besonders am Hang. Planen Sie die Wendung so, dass Sie vorwärts hindurchschieben, statt das Motorrad gegen sein eigenes Gewicht rückwärts zu ziehen. Auf steilem oder lockerem Untergrund ist es oft einfacher, den Motor zu starten und die Wendung im Schritttempo zu fahren, mit bereitem Fuß. Landet das Motorrad doch auf der Seite, prüfen Sie Kupplungshebel und Schalthebel, bevor Sie losfahren, und ersetzen Sie einen Hebel, der verbogen ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Auf Accossatos Liste deckt der schwarze AGS200 die Streetfighter 848 von 2013 bis 2015 ab, während der silberne AGS199 für 2012 bis 2015 angegeben ist. Für Motorräder ab 2013 sind beide gelistet, die Farbe des Hebels an Ihrem Motorrad entscheidet also; für eine Maschine von 2012 steht der AGS199 auf der Liste. Der schwarze AGD209 ist der Bremshebel für dasselbe Motorrad. Bei Inter-Pace ist der AGS200 außerdem für die Multistrada 1200, die Diavel und die Monster 1200 gelistet. Straßenzulassung
