DescriptionThe whole story▼
Parking nose downhill is one of those mistakes most riders make once. The Scrambler Sixty2, the smallest Scrambler from Ducati and a bike many people learned on, is easy to park almost anywhere, including a sloping driveway, a steep street outside a friend's flat or the bank beside a car park. Left in neutral and facing down the slope, a bike can roll forward, and that is the one movement a side stand cannot cope with. Accossato lists the AGS310 for the Scrambler Sixty2 of 2016 to 2021, a black replacement clutch lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality
What Accossato offers here is a spare in the original form, meant to replace the clutch lever of the Sixty2 without altering the look of the handlebar. The company designed these levers to give its customers a good return on what they spend. It also says they are made by a process that increases their resistance after damage or collisions, a welcome claim on a bike that is often ridden by beginners. Accossato lists the lever in black for this model and publishes no further technical information.
Parked Facing Downhill
A side stand is designed for a bike that stands still. Most stands fold away towards the rear, and if the bike rolls forward while the stand is down, its foot is dragged backwards, the stand starts to fold and the support is gone. The bike then drops onto its left side, and the clutch lever, the gear lever and the left footrest take the blow. On the Scrambler Sixty2 the cure costs nothing. Put the bike in first gear before switching off, so the engine holds it against the slope. Where possible, park facing uphill or across the slope rather than down it, and turn the handlebar to the left so the bike rests more firmly on its stand. When you come back, remember that it is in gear: pull the clutch before starting the engine or rolling the bike back. If the worst has happened, check the clutch lever for cracks and bends before riding away. A damaged lever belongs in the bin, and after fitting a new one, set the free play as the handbook describes.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato names the AGS310 as the clutch lever for the Scrambler Sixty2 from 2016 to 2021, and the black AGDS621 as the brake lever for the same years. At Inter-Pace the AGS310 is also listed for the Scrambler Icon, the Multistrada 950 and the Monster 797. As tuning alternatives, Accossato offers the CNC levers ESC012 for the clutch and EDB012 for the brake. Before ordering, it is worth checking the product photo against the lever on your Scrambler Sixty2.
Road Approval
No approval documents are available to us for the AGS310, meaning no ABE and no test mark, and so it is listed for racing and competition purposes.
