DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Scrambler Sixty2 was Ducati's way into the Scrambler world for riders with an A2 licence, and for many of them it was the first motorcycle they owned. New riders tend to drop a bike at the same moments, and one of them surprises almost everyone: the first seconds after climbing on. The bike is lifted off its side stand with a little too much energy, passes the upright point and topples over to the right, straight onto the brake lever. For the Scrambler Sixty2 of 2016 to 2021, Accossato offers the AGDS621, a black replacement brake lever in the original form.

- Right-hand lever for the front brake
- Designed by Accossato to offer good value for money
- According to Accossato, its manufacturing method gives more resistance after damage or falls
- One lever
- No ABE or test mark held; for racing and competition
Construction and Material Quality
There is little that Accossato says about the AGDS621, and all of it concerns purpose rather than technology. The lever is a spare of the original type, following the form of the one fitted to the Scrambler Sixty2 when it was new, and the company developed it to be good value for money, which suits a bike so often bought by young riders on a tight budget. Accossato also says that the way it is manufactured gives the lever more resistance after damage or a fall. The colour is black. No material, dimensions or production details are published, and we will not invent them.
Lifting It Off the Stand
The movement looks easy when experienced riders do it. You sit on the bike while it leans on the stand, then bring it upright with your hands and a push from your left leg. The trick is to move it as far as the balance point and no further. New riders often push too hard, especially if the bike feels heavy or their feet only just reach the ground, and the Sixty2 swings past upright and over to the right before the right foot is down. A few habits make the movement reliable. Hold the front brake while you lift, so the bike cannot roll. Set the handlebar straight ahead first. Bring the bike up slowly and have your right foot ready to take the weight. Fold the stand away only once the bike is balanced between your legs. If it does go over, switch off the engine, lift the bike with bent knees and a straight back, and look at the brake lever before you ride. A bent lever may not return fully, which can keep the brake light on or even hold the brake slightly, so it should be replaced rather than bent back.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGDS621 as the brake lever for the Scrambler Sixty2 from 2016 to 2021. The matching clutch lever on the same list is the black AGS310, covering the same years. If you would rather have a tuning part, Accossato also makes the CNC levers EDB012 for the brake and ESC012 for the clutch of the Scrambler Sixty2. Whichever you choose, compare the product photo with the lever currently fitted to your bike before ordering.
Road Approval
For the AGDS621 we do not hold an ABE or any other test mark. That is why it appears in our shop as a part for racing and competition.
