Eine Diavel ist ein Motorrad, das seine Besitzer gern sauber halten, und der Waschtag bringt seine eigenen kleinen Risiken mit. Die Maschine steht auf dem Seitenständer in einer nassen Einfahrt, der Fahrer bewegt sich mit Eimer, Schlauch und Schwamm um sie herum, und um an die abgewandte Seite der Räder zu kommen, ist es verlockend, die Ducati aufrecht zu halten oder ein Stück zu rollen. Seifiger Beton ist unter den Füßen rutschig, und ein langer, flacher Cruiser verzeiht keinen verlorenen Halt. Für die Diavel von 2011 bis 2018 führt Accossato den AGD209, einen schwarzen Ersatz-Bremshebel in Originalform.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der AGD209 ist nach dem Vorbild des Hebels gestaltet, den Ducati an der Diavel verbaut hat, und genau dafür ist ein Ersatzteil in Originalausführung da: Das Cockpit behält sein Aussehen ab Werk, und hinterher sieht niemand mehr, dass das Motorrad gelegen hat. Accossato hat seine Hebel dieser Art auf ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hin entwickelt und gibt an, dass die Methode ihrer Herstellung ihnen mehr Widerstandsfähigkeit nach Beschädigungen oder Stößen verleiht. Die Farbe ist schwarz, so wie Accossato sie für dieses Modell angibt, und weitere technische Angaben sind nicht veröffentlicht.
Waschen, ohne umzufallen
Die meisten Stürze am Waschtag lassen sich mit etwas Planung vermeiden. Waschen Sie die Diavel auf ebenem Boden mit gutem Halt statt auf glatten Fliesen oder einer abschüssigen Einfahrt und tragen Sie Schuhe mit ordentlicher Sohle statt Sandalen. Lassen Sie das Motorrad auf dem Seitenständer und im Gang stehen und widerstehen Sie dem Drang, es aufrecht zu halten. Reinigen Sie die abgewandte Seite des Hinterrads stattdessen in Abschnitten, und wenn Sie das Motorrad vorrollen müssen, tun Sie es mit beiden Händen am Lenker und mit festem Stand. Halten Sie den Strahl eines Hochdruckreinigers von den Schaltereinheiten und von der Lagerstelle des Bremshebels fern, denn er treibt das Fett heraus. Etwas frisches Fett auf der Lagerstelle nach dem Waschen hält den Hebel leichtgängig. Ist das Motorrad umgefallen, heben Sie es an, sehen Sie sich die rechte Seite an und bauen Sie den Ersatz ein. Prüfen Sie dann im Stand der Diavel, ob das Bremslicht angeht und der Druckpunkt fest ist, bevor Sie zum ersten Mal losfahren.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der AGD209 ist der eine Ersatz-Bremshebel, den Accossato für die Diavel 1200 nennt, und seine Listung deckt 2011 bis 2018 ab. Für die Kupplung gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten, den silbernen AGS199 und den schwarzen AGS200, und die Farbe Ihres Originalhebels entscheidet, welchen Sie bestellen. Wir führen den AGD209 außerdem für die Monster 1200, die Multistrada 1200 und die Streetfighter 848. Accossatos CNC-Hebel für die Diavel sind EDF099 für die Bremse und ESH011 für die Kupplung, für Fahrer, die lieber ein Tuningteil montieren.
Straßenzulassung
Uns liegen für den AGD209 keine Prüfbescheinigungen oder Zulassungsunterlagen vor, also weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Prüfzeichen. Der Hebel ist deshalb für den Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz gelistet.
