Die Accossato Ready To Brake 14x18 verwendet mit 14 mm den kleinsten Kolben im Ready-To-Brake-Programm, vorgeschlagen für Roller, und kombiniert ihn mit einem Drehpunktabstand, den Accossato für die Rennstrecke freigibt und ebenso für die Straße empfiehlt. Das Ergebnis ist eine leichte, gut dosierbare Vorderradbremse für kleinvolumigere Maschinen, die trotzdem vom haiförmigen Gehäuse, dem integrierten Mikroschalter und dem siebenfarbigen Klapphebel profitiert, die der Rest des Programms nutzt. Sie wird als universelles Teil statt gegen eine bestimmte Fahrzeugliste verkauft.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato beginnt mit einem Aluminiumblock, bearbeitet ihn auf CNC-Maschinen im italienischen Werk und versieht die Oberfläche mit einer natur eloxierten Schicht. Die Schrauben sind Edelstahl, das Entlüftungsventil verzinkter Stahl, und die Kolbendichtungen bestehen aus Formula-1-Compound, eine Kombination, die so gewählt ist, dass die Pumpe auch nach Jahren von Wärmezyklen und Bremsflüssigkeitskontakt weiter dicht bleibt, statt eine frühe Überholung zu benötigen. Ein Versatz in der Befestigungsschelle verhindert das Verwinden des Gehäuses beim Bremsen, und ein dort eingebauter Schnelllöse-Verbinder bedeutet, dass die Pumpe für die Wartung von ihrer Klemme befreit werden kann, ohne die Leitungsverbindung zu berühren.
Ein rollertauglicher Kolben mit straßentauglichem Drehpunkt
Mit 14 mm ist der hier verbaute Kolben der kleinste im Ready-To-Brake-Programm und die Größe, die Accossato gezielt für Roller vorschlägt, wo die Hebelkraft gering bleiben soll und die Vorderradbremse meist eine Einzelscheibe mit kleinerem Bremssattel ist. Der dazu passende 18-mm-Drehpunktabstand ist für die Rennstrecke freigegeben und ebenso für die Straße empfohlen, was ein Hebelgefühl ergibt, das weder die weichste noch die festeste Einstellung auf diesem Kolben ist – passend für einen Roller oder ein kleinvolumiges Motorrad, das überwiegend auf der Straße mit gelegentlich spritziger Fahrweise bewegt wird. Das Ready-To-Brake-Gehäuse hält den Leerweg trotzdem kürzer als eine herkömmliche Bremspumpe dieser Größe, sodass der leichte Zug nicht mit einem unscharfen Bremsgefühl bezahlt wird.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Für diese Bremspumpe gibt es keine motorradspezifische Zuordnung, und unsere Fitment-Daten zeigen keine passenden Fahrzeuge; das Teil wird als universelle 14-mm-Radialpumpe für einen Lenker mit 22 mm Klemmung behandelt. Messen Sie Ihre eigene Lenkerklemmung, prüfen Sie, dass die Bremshydraulik für eine 14-mm-Bohrung ausgelegt ist, und kontrollieren Sie, dass diese Kolbengröße zum bereits verbauten Bremssattel und zur Scheibe Ihres Rollers oder Motorrads passt.
