Die Accossato Ready To Brake 15x18 ist eine Radial-Bremspumpe für Naked Bikes und Motards. Sie kombiniert einen 15-mm-Kolben mit einem festen Hebeldrehpunkt von 18 mm, den Accossato für den Rennstreckeneinsatz freigibt und ebenso für den täglichen Straßenbetrieb empfiehlt. Wie bei den übrigen Modellen der Ready To Brake-Reihe ist der Leerweg des Bremsvorgangs durchgehend verkürzt, ohne dass eine Einstellung nötig wäre, und ein integrierter Mikroschalter übernimmt die Bremslichtfunktion im haiförmigen Gehäuse. Der lange Klapphebel mit Erleichterungsöse ist in sieben Farben erhältlich.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Diese Bremspumpe wird CNC-gefräst aus Aluminium und vollständig in Italien montiert, nach derselben Ausstattungsvorgabe wie die gesamte Ready To Brake-Linie: Edelstahl-Befestigungsschrauben, ein verzinktes Entlüftungsventil und Dichtungen aus Formel-1-Compound, die auch nach wiederholten Hitzezyklen und Flüssigkeitskontakt dicht bleiben. Die Klemmung ist versetzt ausgeführt, um ein Verwinden der Einheit bei kräftigem Bremsen zu verringern, und die in der Schelle eingebaute Schnelllösung erlaubt es, die Bremspumpe zur Wartung vom Lenker zu nehmen, ohne die Leitung zu lösen. Jeder innere Kanal ist so geformt, dass der Leerweg des Hebels so kurz wie praktisch möglich bleibt, das ist der Grundgedanke hinter dem Namen Ready To Brake.
Kolbendurchmesser und fester Hebeldrehpunkt erklärt
Anders als die PRS-Varianten im Accossato-Programm nutzt die 15x18 einen einzigen festen Drehpunktabstand statt eines vom Fahrer verstellbaren, was den Hebel etwas einfacher und leichter macht, wenn eine gleichbleibende Einstellung ausreicht. Der 15-mm-Kolbendurchmesser liegt zwischen der kleineren 14-mm-Größe für Roller und den größeren Bohrungen vollwertiger Sportmaschinen; Accossato empfiehlt ihn gezielt für Naked Bikes und Motards, bei denen die Bremse sowohl auf engen, technischen Straßen als auch bei der gelegentlichen Trackday-Ausfahrt zuverlässig arbeiten muss. Der 18-mm-Drehpunktabstand gilt als geeignet für den Rennstreckeneinsatz und wird ebenso für die Straße empfohlen, was dem Hebel ein direktes, bestimmtes Gefühl verleiht statt eines besonders leichten Anschlags.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Diese Bremspumpe ist keinen bestimmten Modellen zugeordnet; sie wird als universelle Lösung für Naked Bikes und Motards mit 15-mm-Radialsystem verkauft. Prüfen Sie vor dem Kauf drei Dinge: eine 22-mm-Lenkerklemmung, ein Bremssystem, das auf einen 15-mm-Kolben ausgelegt ist, sowie Sättel und Scheiben, die bereits zu dieser Bohrung passen.

Für diese Bremspumpe liegt keine deutsche Straßenzulassung vor; sie ist für den Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz bestimmt.
