Das Accossato KITA21 kombiniert eine Ready-To-Brake-Bremspumpe mit schwarzem Hebel mit Accossatos integriertem geradem Fernversteller RA003. Ready To Brake ist je nach Motorrad mit verschiedenen Kolbendurchmessern und je nach Fahrstil mit verschiedenen Hebelabständen erhältlich, und in diesem Kit liefert Accossato sie zusammen mit dem RA003, obwohl der RA003 ansonsten als passend für radiale Bremspumpen ohne die Ready-To-Brake-Funktion gelistet wird. Der Fernversteller selbst ist in zwei Größen erhältlich, 35 mm oder 60 mm, und erlaubt es dem Fahrer, den Hebelweg während des Rennens vom linken Lenkerende aus zu verändern.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die Ready-To-Brake-Bremspumpe in diesem Kit wird mit schwarzem Hebel geliefert, wobei Kolbendurchmesser und Hebelabstand über die Größenoption festgelegt werden, die Kombinationen von einem 14-mm- bis zu einem 19-mm-Kolben über verschiedene Abstände abdeckt. Accossato richtet die Wahl des Kolbendurchmessers nach dem Motorradtyp aus, an dem er verbaut wird, und die Wahl des Hebelabstands nach dem Fahrstil des Fahrers. Der Fernversteller RA003 wird an die Bremspumpe angeschraubt und ist in zwei Größen erhältlich, 35 mm oder 60 mm, unabhängig von der eigenen Größenoption der Bremspumpe wählbar.
Wie der Fernversteller funktioniert
Accossatos Fernversteller ist dafür ausgelegt, dem Fahrer während des Rennens eine Änderung der Hebeleinstellung zu erlauben, ohne dafür in die Box zurückkehren zu müssen. Das Verstellen wirkt sich auf den Hebelweg aus, und da der Versteller in Reichweite der linken Hand sitzt, kann der Fahrer diese Änderung vornehmen, ohne mit der rechten Hand den Gasgriff loszulassen. Accossato listet den RA003 andernorts als für radiale Bremspumpen von Accossato (ohne Ready To Brake) und von Brembo (ohne RCS) gebaut; beim KITA21 liefert Accossato denselben RA003 zusammen mit der Ready-To-Brake-Bremspumpe als kombiniertes Kit.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Das KITA21 ist in unserer Garage keinem bestimmten Motorradmodell zugeordnet; es ist ein universelles Kit aus Ready-To-Brake-Bremspumpe und Fernversteller, kein fahrzeugspezifisches Teil. Beim Einbau ist die Größenoption passend zur Scheibenanordnung des Motorrads und zum bevorzugten Hebelabstand des Fahrers zu wählen, zwischen der Verstellergröße 35 mm oder 60 mm zu entscheiden und der Lenkerklemmdurchmesser an der Befestigung der Bremspumpe zu prüfen. Wie bei jeder Bremspumpe sollte der Einbau durch eine Fachwerkstatt erfolgen.
Straßenzulassung
Accossato dokumentiert für das KITA21 keine ABE. Der Einbau einer Ready-To-Brake-Bremspumpe und eines Fernverstellers anstelle der Serienkomponenten unterliegt in Deutschland der eintragungspflichtigen Zulassung für den Straßenverkehr, daher sollte dies vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme des Motorrads mit einer Prüfstelle abgeklärt werden. Das Bremssystem ist sicherheitsrelevant, daher wird der Einbau durch eine Fachwerkstatt empfohlen.
