Das Accossato KITA2 kombiniert dieselbe radiale Bremspumpe, die in allen CY-Version-Kits von Accossato verwendet wird, mit der hauseigenen Kupplungsarmatur mit Seilzug CF002. Die Bremspumpe ist geschmiedet und natureloxiert, basiert auf einem 19-mm-Kolben, der für Doppelscheiben-Systeme empfohlen wird, und ist mit dem Klapphebel statt der PRS- oder Ready-To-Brake-Version ausgestattet, die Accossato in diesem Kit nicht mitliefert. Die CF002-Kupplung bringt ihren eigenen Klapphebel aus CNC-bearbeitetem, eloxiertem Aluminium mit, bei dem der Abstand zwischen Lenkergriff und Hebel über ein farbiges Einstellrädchen eingestellt wird, statt durch eine Änderung der Hebellänge selbst, die Accossato als Standard beibehält.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Wie bei den übrigen CY-Version-Kits von Accossato ist der Pumpenkörper geschmiedet und mit Natureloxierung veredelt, und sein 19-mm-Kolben entspricht der Größe, die Accossato für Doppelscheiben-Bremssysteme empfiehlt. Der CF002-Kupplungshebel ist ein eigenständiges, CNC-gefrästes und eloxiertes Aluminiumteil, klappbar statt starr, und in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich; Accossato weist darauf hin, dass der serienlange Hebel mit einer in das Hebelblatt gefrästen Erleichterungsöse, Code RST, oder ohne diese, Code NRST, bestellt werden kann – unabhängig davon, auf welche Stufe der Versteller eingestellt ist.
Wie der Griffweiten-Versteller der Kupplung das Gefühl verändert
Das Einstellrädchen des CF002, farblich auf den Hebel abgestimmt, legt den Abstand zwischen Lenkergriff und Hebel über vier Positionen fest: 24 mm, 29 mm, 32 mm oder 34 mm. Accossato nennt den Zusammenhang unmittelbar: Bei größerem Abstand zieht dieselbe Hebelbewegung mehr Seilzug ein, sodass die Kupplung früher trennt, dafür aber mehr Handkraft zum Ziehen benötigt; bei kleinerem Abstand zieht dieselbe Hebelbewegung weniger Seilzug ein, sodass die Kupplung einen festeren Zug zum Trennen braucht, insgesamt aber weniger Kraft erfordert. Accossato empfiehlt, vor einer Verlängerung oder Verkürzung zunächst den aktuell genutzten Abstand zu prüfen. Eine Mikroschalter-Ausstattung lässt sich unter dem Code MI001 ergänzen, ein Spiegelhalter, der bei dieser Kupplung nicht enthalten ist, kann separat unter den Codes MH005 oder MH006 erworben werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Das KITA2 ist in unserer Garage keinem bestimmten Motorradmodell zugeordnet; es handelt sich um ein universelles Kit aus radialer Bremspumpe und Kupplung, nicht um ein fahrzeugspezifisches Teil. Beim Einbau sind der Lenkerklemmdurchmesser an der Befestigung der Bremspumpe, die Verlegung und Passung des vorhandenen Kupplungsseilzugs sowie die Seite des Lenkers, auf der der Kupplungshebel sitzt, zu prüfen. Wie bei jedem Austausch von Brems- und Kupplungskomponenten sollte der Einbau durch eine Fachwerkstatt erfolgen.
Straßenzulassung
Accossato dokumentiert für das KITA2 keine ABE. Der Einbau einer radialen Bremspumpe und einer Seilzugkupplung anstelle der Serienkomponenten unterliegt in Deutschland der eintragungspflichtigen Zulassung für den Straßenverkehr, daher sollte dies vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme des Motorrads mit einer Prüfstelle abgeklärt werden. Das Bremssystem ist sicherheitsrelevant, daher wird der Einbau durch eine Fachwerkstatt empfohlen.
