Für dieses linksseitige Schalterpanel ordnet Accossato die 959 Panigale zusammen mit der 1199 und der 1299 Panigale ein, da alle drei dieselbe Klemmposition am Lenker teilen. Das PS014 ist genau dieses Fünf-Tasten-Klemmpanel: Dieselbe Ausführung, die an die anderen Panigale-Modelle passt, lässt sich auch am linken Lenker der 959 auf identische Weise anbringen.

Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt das PS014 für die Panigale 959 von 2016 bis 2019. Dasselbe Panel teilen sich die 1199 Panigale und die 1299 Panigale, alle drei laut Herstellerkatalog an derselben Klemmposition links am Lenker montiert; der Fitment-Tab in diesem Angebot bestätigt die genaue Version der 959, auf die sich der Eintrag bezieht.
Am Lenker geklemmt, fünf Tasten
Die Montage des PS014 besteht aus dem Festklemmen am Lenker neben dem linken Griff statt aus dem Verschrauben an der Kupplungspumpe, sodass sie unabhängig davon ist, welche Halterung Ducati an einer bestimmten 959 verbaut hat. Jede der fünf Tasten ist tastend und liefert damit einen einfachen Druck-Loslass-Impuls; die Farben reichen von Gelb oben über Grün, Weiß und Schwarz bis Blau unten – eine Reihenfolge, die eher mit dem Handschuh gefühlt als während der Fahrt abgelesen werden soll. Ein einziges Kabel führt die Verkabelung aller fünf zurück zur bordeigenen Schaltung oder einem Nachrüst-Steuergerät.
Straßenzulassung
Für das PS014 liegen bei Accossato keine ABE und kein Teilegutachten vor, und auch Inter-Pace hat keine im Bestand. Mit diesem Panel ändert sich die Lenkerschaltung, daher sollten Fahrer, die ihre 959 Panigale auf öffentlichen Straßen bewegen, die Änderung vorab mit einer Prüfstelle oder qualifizierten Werkstatt abklären. Accossato vertreibt das Teil in seiner Racing-Reihe, die vorrangig auf Rennstrecke und geschlossene Kurse zielt.
Lieferumfang
Im Karton liegt das PS014-Panel mit bereits zusammengebauten fünf Tasten und einem Kabel, zusammen mit der zur Montage nötigen Lenkerklemme. Das Kabel muss noch an die Schaltung des Motorrads oder ein Nachrüstgerät angeschlossen werden, was Aufgabe des Einbauers bleibt.
