Das 1969 in Moncalieri bei Turin gegründete Unternehmen stellt diese Mischung als die vernünftige Alltagsoption seines Programms dar, nicht als eine spezialisierte.
Café-Stopps und kalte Starts
Ein Großteil der Bremsarbeit an einer Street Cup geschieht in den ersten Minuten einer Fahrt, mit kalter Scheibe und kaltem Belag. Organisches Reibmaterial fühlt sich in diesem Zustand meist wohl, der Hebel fühlt sich also am Ende der Einfahrt genauso an wie nach einer halben Stunde. Es läuft zudem meist leise, was willkommen ist, wenn man an einem Bürgersteigtisch vorfährt. Reinigen Sie beim Einbau die Kolben, bevor Sie sie zurückdrücken, halten Sie Bremsenreiniger und Finger von der Scheibenfläche fern, und pumpen Sie den Hebel, bis er fest ist, bevor Sie das Bike bewegen. Geben Sie den neuen Belägen dann eine Reihe moderater Stopps, damit sie sich an die Scheibe anpassen. Einen Blick auf den Flüssigkeitsstand im Behälter zu werfen, kostet dabei nichts.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet AGPA72 für die Front der Triumph Street Cup, gebaut zwischen 2017 und 2021, im Katalog als Street 900 Cup geführt. Die Street Cup trägt eine einzelne Frontscheibe, eine Box deckt also die Vorderachse ab. Hinten nimmt dasselbe Bike den Belag AGPA76, gelistet für 2017 bis 2020, und auch die Scheibe DK203 erscheint in Accossatos Liste für dieses Modell. Fahrer, die einen anderen Charakter aus derselben Form wollen, können stattdessen ST, EV1 oder EV2 wählen.
