Dies sind Frontbeläge für die KTM 450XC-F der Modelljahre 2006 bis 2023, gefertigt von Accossato in der organischen Mischung. Die 450XC-F ist KTMs Cross-Country-Racer, doch viele Besitzer verbringen mehr Wochenenden auf Trailrunden und Trainingsläufen als am Start eines Rennens. Für diese Stunden ergibt die organische Mischung Sinn: Accossato beschreibt sie als Belag, der lange durchhält und dabei die Scheibe schont. Fahrer, die viele entspannte Kilometer zwischen den Rennen abspulen oder das Motorrad mit einem weniger erfahrenen Familienmitglied teilen, finden darin eine ruhige, verzeihende Wahl am Hebel.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato baut diesen Belag auf seiner organischen Rezeptur auf, und das eigene Versprechen der Marke ist einfach: lange Haltbarkeit und ein schonender Umgang mit der Scheibe. Bei einer 450XC-F bedeutet das, dass die Frontscheibe ihre Oberfläche länger behält – wichtig bei einem Motorrad, dessen Scheibe regelmäßig Stöße von Steinen und Furchen abbekommt. Das Reibmaterial ist auf einen Stahlträger gebondet, der für den KTM-Bremssattel geformt ist, sodass die Beläge sauber aufliegen und gleichmäßig über die Fläche verschleißen.
Trailtage statt Renntage
Denken Sie an eine Sonntagsrunde durch den Wald mit Freunden, ein Training im örtlichen Endurogelände oder eine langsame Ausfahrt, bei der einem Neuling die Grundlagen gezeigt werden. Keine dieser Situationen verlangt maximalen Biss; gefragt ist ein Hebel, der sich in der ersten Kurve genauso verhält wie in der letzten, und ein Belag, der die Scheibe nicht auffrisst. Reinigen Sie den Bremssattel, drücken Sie die Kolben vorsichtig zurück, setzen Sie die Beläge ein und pumpen Sie den Hebel, bis er wieder Druckpunkt hat. Bremsen Sie die neuen Beläge anschließend mit ein paar sanften Stopps ein, bevor Sie ihnen etwas Ernsthaftes abverlangen.

Das Motorrad besitzt einen Bremssattel vorn, eine Box genügt also für den kompletten Wechsel vorne.
