An einem in der Stadt und auf entspannten Ausflügen gefahrenen Indian Super Chief erledigt die Hinterradbremse einen ständigen Strom kleiner Aufgaben: vor Kreuzungen verzögern, das Bike an einem Gefälle halten, es in einer engen Wende stabilisieren. Accossato bietet diesen Heckbelag für den Super Chief der Jahre 2022 und 2023 in der organischen (OR) Mischung an, die laut Hersteller dauerhafte Leistung liefert und dabei den Scheibenverschleiß begrenzt. Er passt zu ruhigem Alltagsfahren.

Hauptstraße im Schritttempo
Cruiser sind ebenso für langsame Umzüge wie für offene Straßen gemacht. Am Super Chief bedeutet das, sich durch eine belebte Einkaufsstraße zu schieben, für Fußgänger anzuhalten und sanft rückwärts in eine Parklücke am Bordstein zu rollen, während der rechte Fuß auf dem Pedal ruht. Werfen Sie alle paar tausend Kilometer eine Taschenlampe in den Heckbremssattel und prüfen Sie, wie viel Reibmaterial übrig ist. Riemengetriebene Bikes wie der Super Chief bleiben von Kettenspray auf der Scheibe verschont, doch Politur und Reifenglanz können trotzdem dorthin gelangen, also wischen Sie die Scheibe nach dem Aufpolieren des Bikes ab.

In Accossatos Katalog deckt die Teilenummer AGPA81 das Hinterrad des Super Chief der Jahre 2022 und 2023 ab, sowohl als Super Chief 1800 als auch als Limited. Sie brauchen nur eine Box für das Heck, während die Front des Super Chief AGPA38 nutzt. Lassen Sie die Kolben beim Wechsel nach dem Reinigen vorsichtig einlaufen und betätigen Sie das Pedal mehrfach, bis Sie Widerstand spüren.
