Eine F 800 R ist ein Motorrad, das Leute behalten. Sie ist unkompliziert, für einen ganzen Ausfahrttag bequem genug, und viele der zwischen 2009 und 2018 gebauten Exemplare gehören noch immer denselben Besitzern wie am ersten Tag. Über eine so lange Besitzdauer sind es die kleinen Rechnungen, die sich summieren, und die hintere Bremsscheibe gehört dazu. Accossatos organische Mischung (OR) auf dem AGPP91-Belag ist die Ausführung dieses Hinterradbelags, die genau diese Rechnung im Blick hat.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato macht zu seinem organischen Material zwei Aussagen, und beide drehen sich um Zeit. Die Beläge arbeiten lange durch, und dabei gehen sie rücksichtsvoll mit der dahinterliegenden Scheibe um. An einer Hinterradbremse ist das ein unmittelbarer Vorteil. Die Hinterradscheibe einer F 800 R leistet weit weniger Arbeit als die vordere, steht aber an einer raueren Stelle, und ist sie einmal über ihre Grenze abgenutzt, kostet der Ersatz in keinem Verhältnis zu dem, was sie eigentlich leistet. Ein Belag, der sich selbst langsam abträgt, ist die wohl günstigste Versicherung, die es gibt. Die Schachtel enthält zwei Beläge, genau das, was der Hinterradbremssattel aufnimmt.
Eine Hinterradscheibe lange halten lassen
Manche Fahrer nutzen eine Hinterradscheibe in wenigen Saisons ab, andere schaffen das nie, und der Unterschied liegt meist an Gewohnheiten. Wer den Stiefel stundenlang auf dem Pedal ruhen lässt, hält die Beläge dabei in leichtem Kontakt, was die Scheibe poliert und beide still verschleißt. Dasselbe gilt, wenn die Hinterradbremse allein das Tempo bergab hält, statt den Motor mitarbeiten zu lassen. Keine der beiden Angewohnheiten ist gefährlich, und beide legt man leicht wieder ab, sobald man sie bemerkt hat. Bei einem so langlebigen Motorrad wie der F 800 R lohnt es sich, die Hinterradbeläge bei jedem zweiten Ölwechsel zu kontrollieren, statt auf ein Geräusch zu warten, denn die Hinterradbremse ist die, die niemand hört, bevor das Material aufgebraucht ist. Wischen Sie bei ausgebautem Rad die Scheibe sauber und betrachten Sie die Belagflächen; ungleichmäßiger Verschleiß an einem Paar deutet meist darauf hin, dass der Bremssattel nicht mehr frei genug gleitet.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Liste deckt das Hinterrad der BMW F 800 R von 2009 bis 2018 ab, einen längeren Zeitraum, als er für das Vorderrad desselben Modells gilt, wo der AGPA177 erst 2015 einsetzt. Ein Bremssattel hinten bedeutet, dass eine Schachtel den Wechsel abschließt, und beide darin enthaltenen Beläge werden zusammen montiert. Dieselbe Trägerplatte ist mit ST- und STMX-Material erhältlich, und DK006 sowie DK007 sind die von Accossato für die F 800 R katalogisierten Scheiben.
