Die KTM 200EXC ordnet sich zwischen den kleineren und größeren Zweitakt-EXC-Modellen ein, ein Motorrad, das über eine lange Bauzeit nahe am selben Grundlayout blieb. Accossato führt den CAV01 Offroad-Seitenständer für die zwischen 2004 und 2015 gebaute 200EXC, erhältlich in Orange, Blau, Schwarz oder Silber, wobei die Passung vor dem Einbau mit der Anwendungsliste bestätigt wird.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Statt einen Ständer anzubieten, der grob für mehrere Motorräder passt, führt Accossato den CAV01 in seiner Anwendungsliste für den eigenen Befestigungspunkt der 200EXC, sodass die Passung speziell für dieses Modell gilt und nicht von einem ähnlich aussehenden Geschwistermodell angenommen wird. Die vier Farben sind reine Optikfrage, keine gilt als stabilere Ausführung der anderen. Den neuen Ständer vor dem Einbau neben das Original zu legen, um Lagerpunkt und Befestigungslasche zu vergleichen, und nach der Montage Rückholfeder und Befestigungsschraube anhand des Handbuchs zu prüfen, lohnt sich beides.
Einen Ersatzständer an eine ältere EXC montieren
Eine 200EXC aus den frühen Jahren dieser Baureihe hat wahrscheinlich schon mehrere Besitzer durchlaufen, und ein Seitenständer, der die restliche Lebensdauer des Motorrads überlebt hat, ist eher die Ausnahme als die Regel; die meisten wurden verbogen, geschweißt oder durch das ersetzt, was gerade verfügbar war. Den CAV01 als direkten Ersatz einzubauen, statt weiter mit einem mehrfach reparierten Ständer zu arbeiten, bringt das Motorrad wieder auf einen Stand, der dem Werkszustand entspricht. Es lohnt sich, den Befestigungspunkt am Rahmen selbst vorher auf Verschleiß oder alte Schweißreparaturen zu prüfen, bevor der neue Ständer montiert wird.
Passform und Kompatibilität
KTM baute die 200EXC von 2004 bis 2015, und Accossatos Anwendungsliste führt den CAV01 für diesen Zeitraum zusammen mit eng verwandten Zweitakt- und Viertakt-Enduros, darunter die KTM 125EXC und die Husqvarna TE 250.
