Die KTM 125EXC ist eine Zweitakt-Enduro, die über mehr als ein Jahrzehnt konzeptionell weitgehend unverändert im KTM-Programm blieb, weshalb Accossatos eigene Anwendungsliste dafur einen so weiten Modelljahrbereich abdeckt. Der CAV01 Offroad-Seitenständer ist für die zwischen 2004 und 2015 gebaute 125EXC gelistet, erhältlich in Orange, Blau, Schwarz oder Silber, wobei die Passung mit der Anwendungsliste bestätigt und nicht allein aus dem Modellnamen angenommen wird.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato bindet den CAV01 an den eigenen, in der Anwendungsliste verzeichneten Befestigungspunkt der 125EXC, statt ein Teil anzubieten, das grob für mehrere Generationen eines Modells zugleich passt. Die Farbwahl ändert nur die Optik; keine der vier gilt als stabiler gebaut als eine andere. Es lohnt sich, das Ersatzteil vor dem Einbau mit dem Originalständer zu vergleichen, zu prüfen, ob Lagerpunkt und Befestigungslasche dort sitzen, wo das Originalteil saß, und anschließend Rückholfeder und Befestigungsschraube anhand des Handbuchs zu kontrollieren.
Ein Ständer, der mit tiefem Schlamm und Wurzeln zurechtkommt
Ein lange gebautes Zweitaktmotorrad wie die 125EXC findet sich ebenso oft tief in einer Wald-Enduro wie auf einem Anhänger, und ein Seitenständer, der das Motorrad auf weichem, unebenem Boden halten muss, wird anders beansprucht als einer, der nur einen ebenen Garagenboden kennt. Schlamm, der sich um den Lagerpunkt ansammelt, oder ein Ständer, der schräg in weicher Erde einsinkt, belastet den Klappmechanismus stärker, als die meisten Fahrer bedenken – bis der Ständer nicht mehr sauber einklappt. Einen neuen CAV01 vor einer Saison mit solcher Fahrweise einzubauen ist ein vernünftiger Weg, mit einem noch frei beweglichen Ständer zu starten.
Passform und Kompatibilität
KTM baute die 125EXC über einen ungewöhnlich langen Zeitraum, von 2004 bis 2015, und der CAV01 ist für diese gesamte Spanne zusammen mit verwandten Modellen wie der KTM 200EXC und der Husqvarna TE 125 gelistet. Dieselbe 125EXC erscheint auch auf Accossatos Liste für das Distanzhülsenpaar DSM01.
