Wenige Dinge demütigen einen Hard-Enduro-Fahrer schneller als eine schiefgegangene Bachdurchfahrt. Die Husqvarna TE 300 kommt mit Schlamm und stehendem Wasser gut genug zurecht, doch ein glitschiger, untergetauchter Stein unter dem Vorderrad kümmert sich nicht darum, welches Motorrad über ihm steht, und ein Fuß, der im falschen Moment von einer nassen Raste rutscht, kann die ganze Maschine zu Fall bringen. Accossatos vergrößerte Ergal-Fußrasten für die TE 300 von 2017 bis 2023 gibt es in orange oder schwarz.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Ergal, eine hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung, ist das einzige Material, das Accossato für diese Fußraste nennt, und vergrößert die einzige Form, die er angibt: ein Teil, gebaut für Motocross-, Enduro- und Offroad-Motorräder. Was ein Käufer stattdessen wählt, ist die Farbe, und für die zwischen 2017 und 2023 gebaute TE 300 liegt diese Wahl zwischen orange und schwarz. Jedes Set enthält beide am Motorrad benötigten Rasten, eine für die linke und eine für die rechte Seite.
Durch das Wasser, nicht darum herum
Enduro-Strecken meiden Wasser selten lange, und ein Fahrer, der am Rand einer Durchfahrt zögert, kommt meist schlechter weg als einer, der sich früh entschlossen in einem gleichmäßigen Gang mit nach hinten verlagertem Gewicht hineinbegibt. Die Schwierigkeit ist, dass unter der Oberfläche nichts sichtbar ist: Ein flacher Kiesboden kann einen einzelnen großen Stein verbergen, und eine Strömung kann stärker sein, als sie vom Ufer aus wirkt. Viele Fahrer erkunden eine Durchfahrt im Zweifel zuerst zu Fuß und prüfen Tiefe und Festigkeit des Grunds, bevor die TE 300 hineinfährt.
Ist die Entscheidung erst gefallen, übernehmen die Füße den größten Teil des Ausgleichens, denn das Wasser nimmt dem Fahrer einen Großteil des Gefühls, das er normalerweise vom Beobachten der Räder bekommt. Ein Stiefel, der auf einer nassen Raste den Halt verliert, bringt mitten im Fluss am schnellsten aus dem Gleichgewicht, während das Motorrad seitlich in der Strömung abtreibt. Nach jeder tiefen Durchfahrt lohnt es sich, die Rasten auf eingeklemmten Sand zu prüfen, denn über die Sohle eingetragene Steinchen können sich in der Lagerstelle verkeilen und die Klappbewegung verlangsamen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der FR798 passt laut Accossato auf die TE 300 der Modelljahre 2017 bis 2023. Die früheren Motorräder von 2014 bis 2016 nutzen den FR795, und 2024 bis 2026 den FR809; jedes Set hat seinen eigenen Farbumfang.
