Eine Wellenbahn gehört zu den schwersten Abschnitten einer Motocross-Strecke: eine Reihe eng aufeinanderfolgender Erdhügel, die jeden Fehler bestraft. An einer GasGas MC 450F hat der große Viertaktmotor die Kraft, über die Kuppen zu gleiten, aber nur, wenn der Fahrer an der richtigen Stelle steht und das Motorrad darunter arbeiten lässt. Dabei sind die Fußrasten der einzige feste Punkt des Fahrers. Accossato fertigt vergrößerte Ergal-Fußrasten für die MC 450F von 2021 bis 2023, erhältlich sowohl in orange als auch in schwarz.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Das Teil wird von Accossato als vergrößerte Offroad-Fußraste aus Ergal beschrieben, für Motocross-, Enduro- und Offroad-Motorräder, und diese Beschreibung ist alles, was der Hersteller veröffentlicht. Ergal ist eine hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung. Die größere Plattform gibt dem Stiefel mehr Halt, und genau das zählt, wenn der ganze Körper auf zwei kleinen Flächen über unebenem Boden balanciert. Das Set enthält zwei Rasten, eine je Seite, in derselben Farbe. Für die MC 450F sind Orange und Schwarz erhältlich.
Über die Wellenbahn gleiten
Es gibt zwei Wege durch eine Wellenbahn: über die Kuppen gleiten oder im Rhythmus von einer zur nächsten springen. In beiden Fällen steht der Fahrer, mit leicht nach hinten verlagertem Gewicht, um das Vorderrad leicht zu halten, gebeugten Knien, angehobenen Ellbogen und einem festen, aber nicht verkrampften Griff. Die Beine nehmen die Bewegung des Motorrads auf, während die Arme lenken. Die Füße bleiben von der ersten bis zur letzten Kuppe auf den Rasten, denn ein in einer Wellenbahn abrutschender Stiefel beendet den Versuch meist.
An einer 450er muss das Gas durch die Wellenbahn offen bleiben, damit das Hinterrad über jede Kuppe treibt, statt in die Zwischenräume zu fallen. Das bringt viel Kraft durch die Rasten, und das über viele Sekunden am Stück. Fahrer, die in Wellenbahnen ermüden, spüren es oft zuerst in Waden und Füßen. Eine größere Raste verteilt diese Last über mehr Sohlenfläche, und genau das ist die Idee dahinter. An der MC 450F ist das eine kleine Hilfe in dem Abschnitt, in dem am leichtesten eine Runde verloren geht.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet dieses Set für die MC 450F von 2021 bis 2023, und wir haben es mit diesen Jahren verknüpft. Es ist das einzige Accossato-Fußrastenset für dieses Motorrad; dasselbe Paar ist auch für die MC 250F sowie für die Husqvarna FC 350 und FC 450 gelistet.
