Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FR798 stammt von Accossato, heute mit Sitz in Villastellone bei Turin. Der Hersteller beschreibt ihn in einer Zeile: vergrößerte Fußrasten aus Ergal für Motocross-, Enduro- und Offroad-Motorräder. Ergal ist eine hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung; die vergrößerte Form gibt dem Stiefel eine breitere Fläche zum Gegendrücken beim harten Bremsen oder beim Herausbeschleunigen aus einer Kurve. Im Set sind zwei Rasten, links und rechts, und für diese Generation der FC 450 wählen Sie zwischen orange und schwarz.
Eine saubere Runde
Qualifying verlangt eine andere Denkweise als das Rennen selbst. Es gibt keine Rivalen zu überholen, nur die Uhr, und die schnellsten Fahrer betrachten die Session als Suche nach einer einzigen fehlerfreien Runde. Viele nutzen die ersten Runden, um die Strecke zu prüfen, die sich seit dem Training verändert haben kann, und wählen dann ihren Moment, wenn freie Strecke voraus liegt. Ein sicherer Stand gehört zu dieser entspannten Position, denn ein Fahrer, der seinen Füßen vertraut, hat keinen Grund, den Lenker zu umklammern.
