Für viele junge Motocross-Fahrer ist eine Husqvarna FC 250 das erste Motorrad in voller Größe nach Jahren auf einer 85er oder 125er. Der Schritt ist groß: mehr Gewicht, mehr Leistung und eine andere Fahrweise, mit mehr Zeit im Stehen und mehr Kraft durch die Füße. Viele der frühen FC 250 aus 2014 und 2015 wechseln inzwischen gebraucht den Besitzer, oft genau für diesen Schritt. Accossato fertigt vergrößerte Fußrasten aus Ergal für die FC 250 dieser beiden Jahre, in sechs Farben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Diese Rasten beschreibt Accossato als vergrößerte Fußrasten aus Ergal, für Motocross-, Enduro- und Offroad-Motorräder. Ergal ist eine hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung. Eine größere Raste gibt dem Stiefel eine breitere Basis, was einem Fahrer entgegenkommt, der sich noch an ein größeres Motorrad gewöhnt. Das Set besteht aus zwei Rasten, eine je Seite, und die Farbe wird als Variante gewählt: orange, blau, grün, schwarz, rot oder Titan. Das ist eine größere Auswahl, als Accossato für die späteren FC-250-Sets anbietet.
Aufstieg von einem kleineren Motorrad
Die ersten Sessions auf einem 250er-Viertakter fühlen sich in jeder Hinsicht anders an. Der Motor zieht von weiter unten als ein kleiner Zweitakter, sodass der Fahrer einen höheren Gang nutzen und geschmeidiger fahren kann; das Motorrad ist schwerer und braucht mehr Kraft zum Herumwerfen; und das höhere Tempo lässt alles früher passieren. Trainer raten jungen Fahrern meist, die ersten Wochen auf die Grundlagen zu verwenden: Körperhaltung, Bremspunkte, Kurvenfahren und Stehen auf den Rasten durch unebene Abschnitte.
Die Füße spielen eine größere Rolle als an einem kleinen Motorrad. Ein 250er-Viertakter bringt bei jeder Landung und Bremswelle mehr Kraft durch die Rasten, und ein an eine leichtere Maschine gewöhnter Fahrer bemerkt vielleicht, dass die Stiefel umherrutschen. Gut sitzende Stiefel kommen zuerst. Eine breitere Fußraste gibt der Sohle dann mehr Halt, was einem jungen Fahrer hilft, eine stabile Stehposition auf der FC 250 aufzubauen. Eltern bemerken den Zugewinn an Sicherheit oft, bevor er sich auf der Stoppuhr zeigt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato unterteilt die FC 250 nach Modelljahr in drei Fußrastensets, und dieses, FR795, gehört zu den Motorrädern von 2014 und 2015. Für eine FC 250 von 2016 bis 2022 listet Accossato den FR798, für 2023 bis 2026 den FR809.
