Die Monster 795 ist eines der weniger bekannten Mitglieder von Ducatis Naked-Familie. Für asiatische Märkte entwickelt, verband sie den luftgekühlten Zweiventil-Zweizylinder mit dem Gitterrohrrahmen und dem runden Scheinwerfer der klassischen Monster, und in Europa sieht man sie selten. Besitzer seltener Varianten wissen, dass die Teilesuche oft bedeutet, von technischen Angaben statt von Modellnamen auszugehen. Für die Monster 795 von 2014 und 2015 führt Accossato den FP004, einen aus Aluminium gefrästen und in acht Farben eloxierten Öldeckel, und nennt die Angabe, auf die es hier ankommt: das Gewinde M20x2.5.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Schwarz, Silber, Titan, Rot, Gold, Blau, Grün oder Orange: Der FP004 wird aus Aluminium gefräst und in einer dieser acht Farben eloxiert. Sein Gewinde ist M20x2.5. Accossato beschreibt den Deckel als passend zu den gelisteten Anwendungen und als anpassbar an andere Motorräder mit derselben Deckelgröße, was für den Besitzer eines seltenen Modells eine nützliche Auskunft ist: Das Gewinde, nicht der Name auf dem Tank, entscheidet, ob ein Deckel hineinpasst.
Teile für eine seltene Monster
Eine Monster 795 außerhalb ihrer Heimatmärkte zu besitzen, kann jedes Mal Detektivarbeit bedeuten, wenn etwas ersetzt werden muss. Nicht jede Werkstatt und nicht jeder Teilekatalog in Europa kennt diese Variante, und Fragen zur Passform sind häufig. Bei einem Öldeckel klärt das Gewinde sie. Sitzt der Originaldeckel noch im Motor, nehmen Sie ihn am kalten Motor heraus, reinigen Sie ihn und vergleichen Sie ihn vor der Bestellung mit der Angabe M20x2.5. Sehen Sie sich bei dieser Gelegenheit das Gewinde im Motor und die Dichtfläche rund um die Öffnung an; beide sollten sauber und unbeschädigt sein, und nichts darf in das Kurbelgehäuse fallen. Wenn der FP004 eintrifft, prüfen Sie zuerst den Ölstand, genau so, wie es die Bedienungsanleitung der Monster 795 beschreibt, und drehen Sie den neuen Deckel dann von Hand ein, bis er aufsitzt. Verwenden Sie nie ein Werkzeug, um ihn festzuziehen. Ein Blick auf die Einfüllöffnung nach der nächsten Fahrt bestätigt, dass alles trocken geblieben ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den FP004 für zwei Versionen der Monster 795, die Corse Stripe von 2014 und 2015 und die Red Stripe von 2015, beide mit ABS. Weil der Deckel über sein Gewinde bestimmt ist, führen wir ihn ebenso für die Monster 821, die Monster 1200 und die Hypermotard 821. Trägt Ihre Monster 795 heute einen anderen Deckel, prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung, ob dessen Gewinde M20x2.5 ist. Für den hinteren Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter dieses Motorrads bietet Accossato den TS012 an.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Öldeckel stehen uns keine deutsche ABE und keine anderen Zulassungsunterlagen zur Verfügung, deshalb wird der FP004 für Rundstrecke und Wettbewerb angeboten.
