Suzuki baut die DL650 V-Strom seit 2004 als mittelgroßen Einstieg in die Reiseenduro-Baureihe, ein Motorrad, das ebenso oft für den täglichen Arbeitsweg wie für ein Wochenende unterwegs gekauft wird. Accossato bietet dafür den Öldeckel FP001, aus Aluminium CNC-gefräst und anschließend eloxiert, mit M20x1.5-Gewinde und einer Auswahl aus acht Farben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FP001 beginnt als massives Stück Aluminium, wird auf CNC-Anlagen gefräst und anschließend eloxiert, sodass die Farbe in der Oberfläche des Metalls sitzt. M20x1.5 ist das von Accossato angegebene Gewindemaß, und das ist zugleich die gesamte Maßangabe des Herstellers: Der Deckel passt an die DL650 und die übrigen Anwendungen der Liste oder an jedes andere Motorrad mit derselben Einfüllgröße. Titan, Schwarz und Silber fügen sich in das übliche Grau und Schwarz einer DL650 ein, während Orange, Rot, Blau, Grün oder Gold die Einfüllöffnung als kleines Detail dagegen hervorheben.
Ölwechsel in der eigenen Garage
Viele Besitzer einer DL650 warten ihr Motorrad selbst, statt einen Termin beim Händler zu buchen, und der Einfülldeckel ist dabei der eine Punkt der Arbeit, der ohne jede Verkleidung gut erreichbar bleibt. Öffnen Sie ihn erst, wenn der Motor lange genug abgekühlt ist, und lesen Sie den Stand vorher genau so ab, wie es das Fahrerhandbuch beschreibt, mit dem Motorrad aufrecht auf dem Ständer. Wischen Sie den Bereich um die Öffnung ab, bevor der Deckel abgeschraubt wird, denn jeder dort liegende Schmutz fällt sonst direkt in die Einfüllöffnung. Prüfen Sie Gewinde und Dichtfläche an Deckel und Gehäuse und reinigen Sie beides bei Verschmutzung. Füllen Sie Öl in kleinen Schritten nach, prüfen Sie den Stand bei jedem Schritt, und drehen Sie den FP001 anschließend von Hand ein, bis er sitzt; dabei aufzuhören ist wichtig, denn ein weiter angezogener Deckel lässt sich beim nächsten Mal nur schwerer lösen. Ein Blick auf die Einfüllöffnung nach den ersten Fahrkilometern bestätigt, dass sich nichts gelockert hat.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet den FP001 über die gesamte Bauzeit der DL650 V-Strom, von den Modellen 2004 bis 2012 über die ABS-Version 2013 bis 2015 bis zu den Motorrädern 2016 bis 2019, dazu die XT ABS von 2015. Derselbe Deckel passt außerdem an die Aprilia Caponord 1200 und Caponord 1200 Rally, die Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, 900 und 1200 sowie die Aprilia Shiver 750 und 900, unter anderem bei weiteren Modellen mit demselben M20x1.5-Maß; prüfen Sie die genaue Anwendung vor dem Kauf. Accossato listet außerdem den TS009 Bremsflüssigkeitsdeckel vorne für diese V-Strom, der sich mit dem FP001 für eine farblich passende Kombination an Lenker und Motor kombinieren lässt.
Straßenzulassung
Für den FP001 liegt Accossato keine Prüf- oder Zulassungsunterlage vor, weshalb wir ihn für Rennsport und geschlossene Strecken anbieten; für die öffentliche Straße trägt er keine deutsche ABE.
