Aprilia baute die Caponord 1200 Rally für Fahrer, die ihre Reise nicht dort enden lassen wollen, wo der Asphalt aufhört. Gegenüber der normalen Caponord kam die Rally von 2015 mit Speichenrädern und einer robusteren Ausstattung für Schotter- und Waldwege. Staub gehört zu dieser Art des Fahrens, und Staub ist genau das, was draußen bleiben muss, sobald die Öleinfüllöffnung offen ist. Accossato führt seinen Öldeckel FP001, aus Aluminium CNC-gefräst und eloxiert, für die Caponord 1200 Rally von 2015; das Gewinde ist M20x1.5.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FP001 wird auf CNC-Anlagen aus Aluminium gefräst und danach in der von Ihnen gewählten Farbe eloxiert. Acht stehen zur Auswahl: titan, silber und schwarz für einen gedämpften Auftritt sowie gold, rot, orange, grün oder blau für einen deutlichen Kontrast zu den Motorgehäusen. Accossato gibt das Gewinde mit M20x1.5 an und erklärt, dass der Deckel sowohl zu den Anwendungen seiner Liste als auch zu anderen Motorrädern mit einem Deckel derselben Größe passt. Dieses Gewindemaß ist deshalb die Angabe, die Sie sich merken sollten, falls Sie den Deckel einmal an ein anderes Motorrad umsetzen wollen.
Ölkontrolle auf einer staubigen Piste
Draußen auf einem Schotterweg verlangt die Ölkontrolle mehr Sorgfalt als in der Garage. Suchen Sie eine Stelle, an der die Caponord 1200 Rally so stehen kann, wie es die Bedienungsanleitung für das Ablesen des Stands verlangt, nach Möglichkeit windgeschützt, und geben Sie dem Motor Zeit zum Abkühlen; die Einfüllöffnung wird nie bei heißem Motor geöffnet. Bevor der Deckel herauskommt, wischen Sie den Bereich ringsum mit einem sauberen Tuch ab, denn der feine Staub, der sich nach einem Tag abseits des Asphalts auf dem Kurbelgehäuse absetzt, fiele sonst direkt in die Öffnung. Legen Sie den Deckel an einen sauberen Platz, in einen Handschuh oder eine Tasche mit Reißverschluss, nicht auf den Boden. Ist Öl nötig, gießen Sie langsam durch einen sauberen Trichter und lesen Sie den Stand noch einmal ab. Wischen Sie Gewinde und Dichtfläche ab und drehen Sie den FP001 dann von Hand wieder ein, bis er aufsitzt, ohne ihn zu forcieren. Sehen Sie am nächsten Morgen vor der Abfahrt auf den Deckel: Ein trockenes Motorgehäuse rund um die Einfüllöffnung zeigt, dass er dichtet, wie er soll.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Für diese Version nennt die Liste von Accossato die ETV 1200 Caponord Rally von 2015, und das ist das einzige Jahr, das sie für die Rally zeigt. Der FP001 hat ein Gewinde M20x1.5 und passt laut Accossato auch auf andere Motorräder mit einem Deckel dieser Größe. Bei Inter-Pace ist derselbe Deckel für die normale Caponord 1200, die Shiver 750 und die Benelli TRK 502 X gelistet. Wenn Ihre Rally in einem späteren Jahr zugelassen wurde, gleichen Sie das Gewinde vor der Bestellung mit dem Originaldeckel ab oder fragen Sie uns. Der Deckel TS003 für den vorderen Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter ist der zweite Accossato-Deckel, der für die Caponord 1200 Rally gelistet ist.
Straßenzulassung
Da für diesen Öldeckel keine Prüf- oder Zulassungspapiere wie eine ABE vorliegen, führen wir ihn für die Rennstrecke und für den Wettbewerb.
