Einen Supermoto-Fahrer auf einer Asphaltstrecke zu beobachten heißt, dass der rechte Fuß die ganze Runde über beschäftigt ist. Die Hinterradbremse ist nicht dazu da, die Maschine zu verlangsamen; sie stabilisiert das Fahrwerk beim Einlenken, hält das Heck davon ab, seitlich auszubrechen, wenn der Motor schiebt, und hält alles zusammen, während vorne Last liegt. Accossato bietet die Belagform AGPA42 in der Keramik-Rennmischung ZXC für das Hinterrad der Ducati Hypermotard 821 an, Baujahre 2013 bis 2016, und nennt das Material eine für den Rennsport gemachte Keramikmischung.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Eine Keramikmischung ist die Spezialoption dieser Belagform, und Accossato hält die Beschreibung knapp: eine für den Rennsport gemachte Keramikmischung. Bei einer Hinterradbremse zählt praktisch nicht die Spitzenkraft, sondern ob das Pedal bei der zwanzigsten Betätigung genauso antwortet wie bei der zweiten, denn ein Fahrer, der es fortlaufend nutzt, entwickelt dafür ein Gefühl und denkt danach nicht mehr darüber nach. Auch Wärme gehört zu dieser Frage. Ein durch eine Kurve geschlepptes Pedal steckt mehr Energie in eine kleine Hinterradscheibe, als die meisten annehmen.
Die Kurveneinfahrt mit dem rechten Fuß setzen
Die Technik braucht Übung, zahlt sich aber aus. Vor einer langsamen Kurve schleift der Fahrer leicht am Hinterradpedal, während vorne noch Last liegt, was die Maschine ruhig hält und verhindert, dass das Heck der Hypermotard 821 beim Abfallen der Drehzahl hüpft. In der Kurve selbst strafft ein Hauch Hinterradbremse die Linie, ganz ohne Lenkerimpuls. Beim Herausbeschleunigen hilft sie, das Vorderrad unten zu halten, wenn der Motor zieht. Nichts davon funktioniert, wenn sich das Pedal von Runde zu Runde anders anfühlt, und nichts davon funktioniert, wenn der Fuß erst nach dem Hebel suchen muss, also die Pedalhöhe vor der Session einstellen, nicht währenddessen. Danach den Bremssattel hinten bei langsam rollender Maschine abkühlen lassen, statt mit gezogener Bremse zu parken.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Diese Belagform listet Accossato hinten an der Hypermotard 821 für 2013 bis 2016, sowohl für die Standardversion als auch für die SP, mit ABS und ohne. Ein Bremssattel bedient das Hinterrad, eine Schachtel erneuert es also vollständig. Die Vorderradbeläge derselben Maschine und derselben Baujahre sind die AGPA177, und die Scheiben DK053 und DKS053 in Accossatos Liste für dieses Modell gehören ans Vorderrad.
Straßenzulassung
Weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Prüfzertifikat liegen hier für den AGPA42ZXC vor. Er wird als Rennteil für geschlossene Strecken angeboten.
